Really love their food here. Decor is dated but it doesn't bother me personally. A bit pricey for breakfast but still one of my favorite places to eat in Tomah.

Pricy, for example, bicuits and gravy were $7.99!
Their hashbrowns were like chewing on toothpicks with no flavor at all. The bill was not itemized, couldn't tell what price belonged to what food. Still hungry when we left.

Oh my gosh! The food here was delicious & Dixie, our server was super friendly.
Nicely done display of animal mounts too.
Easy to get to from the interstate.

Took 20 minutes for someone to take our order for drink then another 30 just to take our order then took about another 30 mintues just to get the food and there on only one girl working the other 2 just stood there when I got my eggs sunny side up the white part of the eggs was kinda raw

Places like this exist in many big cities as a pale imitation of the real thing. But in earnest, a place like Tomah is necessary. Great service, clean orderly room and not so crowded as to impinge upon my relaxation and enjoyment of the experience. I ordered a scramble which was basically a 'skillet' but on a plate, and the eggs as an omelette sheet. That is all fine but they doused everything in nacho cheese which was a bit....intense. I'd come back if the situation arose but 'easy on the cheese, please'.

This is a classic old school cafe. Comfortable and great food. The service is spot on, the menu mostly breakfasts and comfort food. All done well. We were content.

Went for breakfast today and it was the worst food I've ever had..$35.00 and we didn't even eat the food. Our server didn't even bother asking if there was something wrong and she could clearly see we didn't eat it. Will never go back!

🤤🤤🤤🤤 makes u want to drool.. the food is delicious, it tastes better than majority of restaurants ive been to.. the service is faster than most of the restaurants in the area and even in the towns within an hour driving distance.. the owner works there as a cook.. HI TERRY.. and he loves it when u acknowledge him.. even when his cooking in the back.. he will yell out HI.. if he hears u or sees u.. the employees r like 1 big family and they all run smooth together.. i would highly recommend coming here.. do be warned tho.. for a small grandpops restaurant that has been around for over 30+ years.. the price is a little bit up there.. but it is affordable.. still cheaper than most fastfoods u go to.. and it is healthier too.. we come here every sunday for brunch

I inquired about where the best place for breakfast and was told Greenwood. They hit the nail on the head. We are from Mesa AZ and have been traveling all over the upper mid west and this cafe is by far the best breakfast experience so far on thus trip. Cudos to Greenwood Cafe.
