Very cute little mom and pop place. Service was great and they got the food out rather quickly. The food was great also. I went there for breakfast and had the Belgian Waffle Special. I didn't even need to use the syrup! Altogether was a wonderful experience.
Also just for substance, I'm from the west coast ;) .

While visiting the area, we met another couple for breakfast. The food was delicious and the service awesome. Our water and coffee was kept full and our dishes removed when we finished. Rustic, with a variety of preserved game animals scattered around the room. People who love the outdoors will feel at home. The only issue was the price. Breakfast was over $10 a plate, which is excessive even in this economy.

Was there for breakfast couples days ago. Couldn’t believe the bill…so I disputed it and found out that we were charged 7.99 for a side of bacon that we order for our son. He also had a 2.99 pancakes! Unbelievable!!!! Won’t be back there anytime. Service took to long but they keep topping off our coffee.

Service was good; very friendly. Food was average; portions were fair, price was a bit high. The place was very dated and the bathrooms were sketchy. Probably won't return if ever in the area again.

Time moves a little slower in tomah, as soon as you walk through the door your ushered in with warm welcomes and friendly faces. Dixie our waitress was absolutely fantastic, providing a truly 5 star experience with a motherly touch. Our chili was delicious and full of bold flavor, a very hearty start to our meal. Before we could even blink our meals were in-front of us, Dixie made sure our every need from hot sauce to salt and pepper were taken care of. Portions were very large and prices were great, the best part however? The food! One of the best omelettes I’ve had to date and the toast was thick and fluffy. The hash browns hit the spots in al the right ways. If your ever in tomah it serve you right to take a stop by the Greenwood cafe and let life move a little slower.

The greenwood cafe is definitely our new place to go for morning breakfast or brunch. The atmosphere is very Home like and the workers are so sweet and kind and treat you like family. The food is wonderful as well! The head chef is a great cook! Would highly recommend this place. They are also a family owned business.

The decor is unique, with a lot of taxidermy animals displayed. The food and service are good, and they always make sure your coffee ☕️ cup is full.

I'm a small town cafe guy...this was a disappointment. Slow service and the food (both plates) had hair in it. There is likely a better place in Tomah to go find food.

Reasonable prices but service barely ok. Stopped by while driving through Wisconsin. It was just before Packers game was about to start and as the server commented to another customer, they are always slow when there is an early game. My omelette was good, but wrong. I ordered a ham and swiss. After a long wait (given that only 3 tables were occupied and one was already eating) I was served a ham and sausage with American cheese omlette that had 2 small cups of ranch dressing on the side. Server didn't notice the omlette was wrong even though we were the only order she had taken while we were there. Given the wait to get it, I ate it. She spent a lot of time chatting with the owner and a friend at another table with the coffee pot in her hand, but didn't come by to give my friend a refill until we were finished. She did fill the to go cup when he asked.
