Spring Green General Store

Sad to see such a local treasure go downhill. Been coming here annually for years. Worst service yet. Over an hour for food. Missing ingredients. No bread accompanying. Over cooked. Disposable water cups.

For the price, definitely not worth it anymore.

There are so few places to eat in Spring Green that somehow this one got rated as #1. We ate lunch there on a Tuesday when it wasn't very crowded. We were told at the counter that we couldn't take a table until we had ordered, so we stood at the counter reading the menu. We each ordered half sandwiches with a cup of soup for $8.99, plus one lemonade at $2.29. Then we took a table and sat down. A while later, our food was delivered. The soup was just OK, and the half sandwiches measured around 2" x2-1/2" and consisted of a tablespoon of low-grade tuna salad on rock hard ciabatta bread with a thin half slice of tomato and a few pieces of confetti that were apparently lettuce, plus a thin slice of cheese draped over the innards and hanging well outside the tiny ciabatta. These couldn't be eaten as sandwiches due to the hardness of the bread, so we deconstructed them and ate what we could. The lemonade consisted of around 50 ice cubes and possibly a half cup of lemonade. We escaped for around $24, and I realized I was still hungry! I have never received such stingy portions for the price. The items for sale around the store were also heartily overpriced. Apparently this is one of those places called a "tourist trap." Good luck if you go there on a weekend. You have to fight your way in and out, which just seems wrong on so many levels. Oh yeah, I forgot - you have to bus your own table!

Great food friendly staff. And BOBFEST & BEATLES Fest!!!!

Just shopped, no dining. But the have some unique things. Have eaten there previously, very good!

First time for us to eat there, but definitely not the last. Delicious food, friendly staff and we was entertained with old time music. Didn't expect that. A must place to stop.

Super fun store with unique finds. We came for the restaurant and was not disappointed! For a ladies weekend it was worth the stop!

The Spring Green General Store is a great place to shop or to meander. You can grab a bite to eat, drink tea or coffee. They sell small gifts and even have a section to buy local spices.

Great blts, and lunch service. Pleasant atmosphere and a great place to get a gift for that special person.

Great coffee. I particularly love BobFest (Sunday of Memorial Day), a celebration of Bob Dylan's music on their back patio. Hundreds of people and great beer.

I'm so in love with this place! Can never go to APT without following up with a morning breakfast out on the porch. Love to browse the unique gift items
