Spring Green General Store

Busy lunch place, but lots of seating inside or out. Order one counter & pay at another. Lots of shopping for gifts/ mementos. Friendly staff.

Neat little store/cafe. Didn't eat, just stopped in to check out the shop. Had some unusual & funny gifts. I would consider prices on the high side, but was still a neat place to stop & look.

By far the best place in the area for breakfast or lunch. Not the traditional meat and potato greasy spoons Wisconsin is known for. They serve great local food made well. I love their Greek salad and hummus platter. They have daily specials, yea for hobble pobble! I love their strudel pancakes. They even use real Wisconsin maple syrup! Not maple flavored corn syrup.. Pricing is very fair. The is a down side, this place stays busy, very busy. They only have about two dozen tables and you wind up waiting. Its not that bad, you can place your order then wait for a table. For me It's simple, great food with a wait or bad food fast.

Stopped In for some lunch. Food was good, a bit high priced. Wonderful selection of items to shop in the attached store. Sunday afternoon guy came and was playing guitar so live music and good music. Nice place, definitely worth stopping in for at least shopping, and lunch if you're hungry.

This general store has a small cafe in it. Be prepared to wait for the excellent variety of prepared to order breakfast foods. Place your order, then get a seat. Everything was tasty, with the coffee being quite good. You should bus your own table, as the staff is busy making and delivering the delicious food.

Haven't tried the food yet, but the store has a fun selection of everything. It's a great place to buy gifts! My husband had way too much fun shopping and bought all of these that now grace our fridge.

Enjoyed a delicious Sunday morning breakfast here. The kids and I liked shopping around while waiting for our food. So many local goodies for sale!

The General Store is our family go-to lunch stop anytime we pass through Spring Green. Food is always good, the service always a pleasure. We love sitting out on the porch so the kids can use the porch swing whilst waiting for our food. Highly recommended.

There is a bit of self service required at this awesome, little spot. That is the only reason I'm not rating 5 of 5. Otherwise, the food and atmosphere were very good. We ate in the sun room, which made the experience truly unique. We will definitely visit again!

I've been coming here for many many years. In the past, when I came to eat, you were greeted with a warm and friendly "hello, how can we help you". It was that friendly, warm and caring atmosphere that held you here. To quote Edith and Archie .... "Those were the days". Now it seems like the staff has gotten less and less patient, and interested, with the customers. Now don't get me wrong, the food is wonderful, but what's good food while eating in a soulless, "we're doing you a favor for serving you" atmosphere?

They also have a general store. It's still fun to come and see all the eclectic products and local artisan jewelry that they offer.
