I’m a former barista and love trying local coffee, heard lots of great things about this place and always love to support a local business. My fiancé and I were on a long road trip and needed some caffeine, we felt bad coming in 15 minutes before close but noticed there were two employees and no one else in the store, so figured it wouldn’t take long. I grew up visiting spooner and love the area, but this coffee shop disappointed me. The man at the counter was rude and harsh, despite me being nice to him. He charged me for a specialty coffee that he claimed “couldn’t be made iced” even though it was a latte I was ordering. I, and everyone else knows, lattes are made to be iced or hot. He served me black coffee with no flavoring. I am assuming he told me this, because they turned their espresso machine off 15 minutes before close which is their own fault. We left 5 minutes before close so I am confused why he was so rude to us. I ordered a “red eye” with almond milk, and was served dark roast coffee. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, as I’m sure the coffee is normally amazing as everyone else rates it to be, but I was honestly hurt at how rude the man at the counter was to me. I hope others can have a better experience than I had today.

Great atmosphere and great coffee too

Absolutely delightful! It was my first time visiting while on a family vacation as I'm from South Dakota, and decided to explore the town. So glad I stopped here! I loved the environment, and the staff was super friendly and easy going. There were many things on the menu that was tried between myself and those I was with. I'll be back for sure!

Wow, my town is desperate for help and this coffee shop has three of the best people I have witnessed in a long time. Cashier is sweet, coffee maker is brutally fast and sandwich maker is amazing. I only pass through once a year, wish this coffee shop was in my home town. Food is good, coffee is great, this place is simply fantastic. YUM YUM

Love the place and the food. People are so nice but it does take a while to get your coffee if you ordered something fancier than black with cream

Poor staff and cleaning, but I've seen worse. I'd expect this of a pizza shop in the city, but a beautiful coffee shop that has good food and drink, I expect it to he nice at the very least. Keep expectations low and you'll find it amazing. (I really hope that as a tourist I just caught them on a bad day)

I got a coffee here and the lady working was very accommodating and helpful with mixing up the perfect drink and answering my questions. I did not dine in but the place looked comfortable and welcoming and I will come back when I am able to sit and stay for coffee.
