Fun place with great local characters, food, drink and (ghost) stories for days. Sarah was awesome.

awful experience. went this summer and there was a hair in my pasty, notified them and they remade it. there was another hair in my gravy and my friend who ordered a Cesar salad also had multiple hairs in it. the yogurt was the texture of sour cream. will NEVER be back.

I noticed that all the 5 star reviews were old and related to their old location-Mad Charlie’s cafe is now in Monroe. I give it a 3 because the food was average (I had to ask for it to be warmed up) and the coffee was fine(nothing special but still good) ... what really dropped my star rating from a 4 to a 3 was the furniture- it seems strange using old funeral home pews as benches for a coffee spot. Also it smelled musty... outside is much better than the inside at the moment. The music also wasn’t suited for a coffee shop.... I will visit again in hopes of an improvement.

Wonderful pastries, friendly staff and yummy coffee.

This is a great addition to the Monroe Wi community! My wife and I have eaten here a few times for breakfast! Each and everytime we have been more then happy with the food and service! What a cool place offering lots of room inside and outside for breakfast and lunch! All items are made daily and have been fresh and full of flavor.
