Lovely place, the workers were so friendly and the whole atmosphere is relaxing! Perfect place to spend a couple hours studying or working. My tea was delicious and so was my fancy grilled cheese!

Great service, great staff. I don’t know if it could’ve been an off day, but I ordered a regular iced salted caramel latte. The salted caramel tasted almost sour. After notifying the staff, I was immediately given another drink, a regular vanilla latte. Once I tasted it I immediately knew that although the service was great and I would definitely consider returning for their double chocolate chip muffin or any bakery, I would not be returning for the coffee. Overall, great atmosphere and great staff… really appreciate how understanding they were!

Fabulous staff, music is a warm hug, food is divine! Coffee is spectacular spectacular. Highly recommend.

So we where Served 2 waffles that literally looked like dollar store toaster waffles and for their 2 and 2 and 2 I was served 2 eggs 2 thin slices of lunch meat ham and 2 pieces of toast for the fine price of $20 it was probably one of the most horrific dining experiences I've had to date.. The atmosphere was pleasant and it was a clean dining experience.. But that food was flavorless and absolute rip off..

The staff were nice but not very knowledgeable on what would be safe for me to eat as a vegan. It was really frustrating to try and find anything on their menu good or drink related that would be suitable for me. My non-vegans enjoyed the chai teas and baked goods they had available though.

Added: not a great place to bring a service dog. Recently got a service dog after much training work. Brought them in and the staff ask for my "papers." I explained that's not how it works and the papers I have I don't need to show them because they contain my healthcare information. They proceeded to push. Manager also knew nothing about service dogs. Still got my drinks, but was once again very annoyed at their accessibility.

We love the Great Northern! The best coffee shop/pastry/breakfast place up north. The owners Joy and Greg are so friendly and accommodating and the staff is so hard working! Best chai anywhere. Atmosphere is rustic but warm and inviting. Love, love, love it!!!
