Excellent food @ a fair price! You won't go away hungry. Would of gave a 5 star, but a little slow in taking our order, probably not fair because they were so busy.

Pointer has great food!! I almost always get blueberry pancakes, but can attest to the whole menu being tasty. Plus you always run into folks you know. Super charming.

I just had a fantastic meal. Todays special is lasagna with salad and garlic toast. Large portion at a very reasonable cost. Its just like mom makes it. Very tasty. The pie is very good and there is quite the variety. Awesome cafe atmosphere, friendly service, and definitely the town hang out. I'm from LaCrosse, and this is just the place I like to explore and enjoy. Definately going to have to stop in again when work brings me back this way.

Just the lovely hometown feel that you'd expect from a place like this. Everyone knows each other and it's comfortably laid back without being slow. Got our meals quickly and the Dutch apple pie and Oreo pie we're equally delicious. Glad the locals let us in on the hidden gem.

Nothing fancy but decent American fair food. Husband enjoyed his pie greatly. Has a country home type of environment as well as the small town everybody knows everybody feel!

Come on out to the Pointer Cafe!!! Great place to eat!!! Tonight we had Cake for Allisa 12th bday at pointer cafe!!! Great place, great food and staff is awesome from the very busy and awesome cooks, friendly and sweet waitress's!!! Nice just have a cup coffee and visit with family and friends too!!!

Food was good but not amazing. It's a bit awkward walking in and having a giant pie display in your face and no one to seat you. It was a seat yourself kind of place (or at least I think it was because there was no sign) It's a good grandma's dinner type restaurant.
