Super super rude will never go back first of all took way to long for the waitress to acknowledge we were there. Waitress took a long time as she definitely catered to locals. I ordered a lunch special and added on salad bar I got my salad and soup I decided to give my soup which was included to my son since we waited so long and he was hungry. When I went to pay my bill she told me total I asked to see my bill she got irritated and slammed it down. I asked her what the open food was she told me it was for my son eating my soup I explained to her I gave him my soup not only that I did buy him his own meal she literally went off on me how I’m not getting foood anywhere cheaper and was so rude I then paid for another bill I asked her to see the bill as again she only told me what I owed she groaned and through it down I told her it was my right to see my bill she then said this was my fault and I was turning it around on her. Moral of the story the lady is rude and has no business working in the food industry

Food was good, standard breakfast fare, I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. It was freshly prepared, not out of a can, and there was a lot of gravy on the plate. I actually put the extra over my hash browns. Service was good, very attentive.

Nice family resturant. Service was great 4 as busy as they were.

We were not from the area but stopped in with some friends for a quick lunch. We all had the grilled cheese and the best fries we’ve ever had! The food was hot and delicious. The carrot cake with that cream cheese frosting was so yummy! Loved the friendly, homey atmosphere and decor.

Standard Cafe fare for breakfast. Insanely fast food prep. Took about 3 minutes for 2 breakfast plates to make it to our table. Omlete was good, a little heavy on the onions but I dig that.
Service was friendly, and frequent.
I would come back again when I'm in the area.

Was a great meal with courteous staff. Will definitely eat there again when in the area.

Great food awesome staff. For the price of two pieces of breakfast pizza from Casey's you can have a great sit down breakfast. There is a reason this place has been there since I can remember and probably longer than me.

A place that outsiders are not welcome. If you don't know these people, you will be served like you are bothering them. We came in for our second time. It's a seat yourself place. Then two tables came in after us. The wait staff obviously knew those people because they went to them first. We sat for 40 minutes waiting for our breakfast as the ones that came in after us enjoyed their breakfast. Anyway, if you're not from here, don't come here. It's that kind of place.

Tasty home cooked meals served by local caring people.
Not the cheapest place, but noticibly better than other area cafes, eateries and restaurants.
Breakfast is made fresh any time of day.
Generous tastey food portions are served by a personable waitress that doesn't stop until you ate stuffed and heading out the door. You will stop back again.

We had a burial in Mifflin for my mother in law Pat (Johnston) DeWitt. All of us being from out of town we needed a gathering place afterwards.
I phoned Suzi after finding the pointer cafe online.
Gave her my requests for 25 people.
Her, Terry and sweet Brook knocked it out of the park.
The 3 of them did the work of ten.
The food was beyond delicious.
What a great place.
I highly recommend the pointer Cafe for one of the best meeting places in the area....
Thank you ladies!
