Of course it is on the pricey side, it's a premium hotel filled with travelers on expense accounts. But the quality was good, not great. We had the special this morning which was a frittata with asparagus, peppers, and onions served with fruit or hash browns (our choice - extra crispy) and choice of bread (we chose sourdough toast). Everything was bland. Jist not seasoned properly. Coffee was Starbucks.
Service was spotty. Had to flag down the server several times for refills and other needs. Not commensurate with prices.
Atmosphere is pleasant, clean and about what you expect from a hotel cafe.

Very nice cafe that you access through the Pfister. Classical music playing and a nice menu.

I stayed at the pfister hotel for a weekend in Feb 2019. For a few days during the trip I ate breakfast at the cafe . The farmers omelette that I ordered was cooked perfectly . I substituted the hash browns and toast for fresh fruit and was pleasantly surprised that the coffee was really good! I believe my servers name was Carol. She was very attentive and on top of coffee refills! I will eat here anytime that I stay at the Pfister !

Breakfast / Lunch choices are always spot on. The Cafe is especially great for preparing according to requests. Excellent daily soup. Free validated parking in the structure.

The wait staff is warm, friendly, efficient, and always remembers us. The Pfister Bloody Mary is quite the sight to be seen - nearly a meal on its own! Brunch specials like the frittata are always exciting to try!

I took my husband there for father's day and it was great. The food was very good and the service was great. Our server was faith. She had a smile on her face the entire time and that made it all pleasant. The food can be pricey, but I felt it was worth it. Will be back soon and I highly recommend this place and their server Faith!
P.s. I never leave reviews....so thats a good indicator of our experiences!

Sadly disappointed, especially considering it’s in a 4-star hotel. The Pfister itself is stunning (the lobby! Wow!) but the cafe décor is very tired. My husband found 6 bones in his salmon Benedict and we were shocked that the cafe didn’t apologize or try to make it right when we kindly brought it to their attention.
The bones weren’t a huge deal, but I’m surprised by the subpar service in a luxury hotel. Any hotel in Chicago would have immediately tried to make it better.

Ate here on 2/22/2018. You can sit down to eat hot meals, it's not just a café that only serves coffee and biscotti- you can eat healthy, delicious meals here.
Given that it's inside one of the most prestigious hotels in Milwaukee, I was relieved to see that prices were affordable! The staff members were courteous and professional. Thank you!
Thanks for reading my review!

Breakfast is only the most important meal of the day if it's with a friend. Great spot to breakfast before work. It'll make your day so much better, promise.
