The food is bland. This is a spot for those staying at the hotel and have an early flight out and need a quick meal. Any restaurant with in a 1/2 mile radius will provide a superior brunch. Look at the posted pictures and ask yourself "is this the most amazing thing ever". Not a bad place but not a 5 star place either.

Great experience! Friendly, accommodating host. Craft cocktail was very good. Started with a mushroom and polenta appetizer special. It was excellent but could have been a bit larger. The lamb and rabbit ragout pappardelle had great flavor and was memorable. I will go back! Very stylish, comfortable place. Also, took a walk into the 3rd Ward after dinner. Good location!

Marsha was so nice and accommodating! Breakfast was amazing. Eggs Benedict and veggie omelette were to die for! Such a nice cafe.

Walking into the Pfister is literally walking into a space of art. The architecture is stunning and this sets the tone walking into the Cafe. Starting with the warm welcome upon entering, the entire experience is lovely. The service is friendly and attentive and the food....the food is so good! I had the corned beef hash and it wasn't fussy, just tasty. The entire atmosphere is one of unpretentious class and I will be sure to visit again.

Very nice small spot inside the Pfister (a beautiful building) that has sandwiches, soups, salads, various coffee drinks and the like. Had a great, simple but very well executed, burger and truffle chips. Great combo and friendly staff, would go again anytime.

Great service let down by mediocre breakfast. Girlfriend and I had the eggs Benedict and French toast, the hollandaise sauce had way too much lemon juice in it and the $14 French toast wasn't any better than what you'd find at Denny's

Nice but under trained staff. VERY average and bland food. We tried breakfast and lunch to provide a fair assessment- both are as drab and average as the decor. I'm confused by reviews stating this is an elegant hotel or restaurant- perhaps the idea of it? The menu, decor, materials, and art is all factory basic and somewhat of an insult to the history of this building.

Comfortable and classy, with a good menu selection. We ordered cold brews, oatmeal, and a scone (don’t think it was made on location). The attendants behind the counter/cash register weren’t thrilled to be there, or to see us. But they certainly laughed it up amongst themselves when no one was in line (I’m glad they can have fun on the slower times, but I felt it was rude and loud).
Overall pleasant visit - thank you.

I chose the blueberry pancakes with warm blueberry compote. Oh yum! Very fluffy and filling. If you are a pancake fan, these will definitely hit the spot. Hubby chose the biscuits and gravy, and naturally (as I am a B&G expert, lol) I snuck a bite. Good gracious, it was good! Gravy was very savory and buttery, for the lack of a better term. Highly recommend!

The service was great and the brunch was unique and creative.
