Jenn's Java

Jenn's is my favourite coffee shop! I love the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, and the staff. Everything is delicious - and affordable.

They've got games available for every age, & it's well suited to both single visitors and for groups.

The style is very open concept, but there is a room available in back, which can even be hired for a few hours for more privacy. Jenn's offers a variety of furniture, from small & grand table sets to large, comfortable couches. It's over the street from Washington Park, so the views are great all year.

The majority of their food is made fresh, which is really nice. The only comestibles that aren't made-to-order are in their cold case & bakery items (which could still fit in this category, actually, as the rotation changes constantly & Jennifer & staff cook & bake from scratch; plus, you can actually place specific orders so the items are customised for you).

Everything I've eaten or imbibed at this place is delicious. I've yet to have something I dislike, & this is true for my fam & mates alike.

Coffee is not their only specialty! Desserts fully of taste and whimsy so inviting if makes them hard to pass up. A small boutique of clever and original handmade items and other items to buy. A large meeting room and large sitting area. A very cozy place to tuck into a cup of something and a treat

Used to be my absolute favorite place to go for coffee! The only reason it is no longer my #1 is that their business is so popular (and I don't like busy places personally)! Drinks are always very good and customizable. Food is always changing and better for a light breakfast/lunch or a snack, or for a delicious dessert! They also have a large private back room that can be rented, it has two couches and some tall tables, as well as a projector and screen. In ADDITION to all this, you can order custom cakes, cookies and other sweets for your occasions! How exactly the couple manages to do all of this, I don't know, but it sure is impressive. Highly recommended!

I ordered my wedding cupcakes and a gluten free wedding cake from Jenn's Java. Absolutely amazing! My guests were raving about the cupcakes all night. And as for my cake--forget the fact that it was gluten free-- it was the best cake I ever had. Aside from being a great place to order for special events, Jenn's is a great place to go every day for drinks, food, and a great place to hang out with friends.

The atmosphere was average. I got a shiver with a pump of flavoring(blended coffee drink) and smoothie. The shiver tasted like burnt coffee with a very unpleasant bitter after taste that was overwhelming. The smoothie was good but it had a very runny consistency like it was mostly just juice.

Consistently amazing! Whether it's the delightful coffee or scrumptious baked goods, Jenn's Java never fails to provide a quality experience. The staff is wonderful- polite, kind, and efficient!

Ordered iced and hot lattes -- tasted like burnt water down iced coffee. People were fine not rude, just normal, but the three different coffee drinks we got were all pretty off tasting...

Absolutely love, love, love their coffees and cold drink menus. The make a mean tuna melt and my son really likes the breakfast wrap. We have purchased many special occasion cakes from Jenn's Java and are amazed by the talent (and taste) evertime!

My whole family love Jenn's. Great food and drinks and locally owned! A bonus of a small gift shop so if you need to grab a card or quick gift you can do that while they are mixing up your drink.

This is my husband and I's favorite place to go for treats!!! Their baked goods, specialty drinks, and hand made products they sell are AMAZING! They have games to play, comfortable seating and has a greaty community feel! The service is hit or miss at times which is one of the only things that I would say is a bummer. It's not bad enough to keep us away though when we drive through the area!
