Don't let your eyes deter you, the food is high quality and worth a visit. I went in for a lunch meeting and ordered the Thai Curry and it was splendid. It came with a cup of the Himalayan 12 bean soup which was far better and more flavorful than I could have imagined.

I like my food spicy, but within reason. I ordered the curry with a spice level of 3/5 and the first few bites surprised me. The heat built over the course of the meal, but not to the point that it was unbearable. Was 3/5 spicy? Yes. Was it too spicy for this Midwesterner? Nah.

I'll be going back again to try some of the other dishes.

Great food. We ordered the mango coconut and curry hurry curries and they were both excellent. The people working were very kind, attentive, and quick to offer water refills. We will be returning to try more of the menu.

So happy to have just discovered this yummy gem! The staff is so kind, going the extra mile to ensure all is well, the newest cashier is genuinely eager and easy-going, and the items I had (kimchi fried rice, bhaji, chapati bread and mango lemonade(better than expected)) had depth of flavor and variation that was very enjoyable! They have vegetarian and gluten free options which is great. The space fits about 10 people total, and carryout and delivery was available too.

I am a tourist and was attracted by the ratings of this place. The food is NOT amazing. It is very mediocre but good enough for the price. Not sure how the rating is so high. Wanted to balance it out with a 1 star.

I ordered Mexican tacos and they were very dry, at least by the time I ate it. I ordered pick up (due to pandemic) so there was some time delay between when the food was done and when I ate it. The tortillas were thick and meat was not juicy enough. On the second day I went to canteen, which serves actually good tacos and I would highly recommend.

My friends also ordered from this place and they weren’t particularly disappointed. The portions are very big.

The food was fantastic. The dumplings were recommended and were definitely a good choice. Everyone in my group loved their food. The tic-tac curry was wonderful. I could eat there every day. Service was very attentive.

One star for service. Five stars for food (when you get the correct order). I’ve been ordering from the Globe for years and the food as always been excellent. However the service has gone down hill in the past year. I’ve twice been given the wrong takeout order, among other issues. When I called this second time to let them know so they could remake my order, the woman who answered the phone was rude and hung up on me before our conversation was finished. It’s a shame because the food is top notch, but I don’t think I’ll be going back.

We ate at The Globe for the first time in May and it was because of the good reviews and it’s close proximity to The Overture. It did not disappoint. I have never felt so welcome in a restaurant. The menu was explained to us, the favorite dishes were pointed out and our food was even tailored to our spice level preference. The soups are amazing, the Tibetan dumplings are the perfect combination of spicy, savory, crunchy and saucy and I love the Korean BBQ. I have gone there three times all together now and with different people and they have enjoyed the experience as well. The second time I went I asked for a Diet Coke and the owner ran across the street to get me one! Amazing service and amazing food!

Incredible food served by such lovely people. Whether as take-out or dine-in the food is always delicious! One of the best parts is that you can choose your spice level for the dish. In person, they are very attentive and always check to make sure you are enjoying the food. I recommend the Indian Tic Tac Curry, which includes veggies and meat so it’s a wholesome meal! The employees were very good about asking us if the food is at the right level of spicy or if we needed more rice, water, or to-go boxes at the end. They clearly care about each individual customer that walks through their door. Will be back for more as soon as I finish my leftovers! (They are also COVID safe which is always a plus!)

Loved the food here! Good price, proportions and taste! Had Korean BBQ at full spice with a Mango Lassi to fight the heat. Will be tough to get food elsewhere when I'm back in town

We’ve been here twice in two days. It’s so so so good. We have five friends and between us we’ve had the Thai current the Indian curry, samosas, momos, Thai tea and mango lassi. They have excellent service and are really friendly. It’s some of the best curry I’ve had outside of India. And the mango lassi was sour the way it should be. Highly highly recommend this gem.
