I just finished a lovely lunch. Crimlin Crepe, and well made Latte and a excellent molasses cookie. Next time I come to LaCrosse I will be stopping again. Beautifully made crepes, just the right amount of filling. And a great selection.

Great Atmosphere and Good Coffee

Wen't here for the first time with a Friend and loved it. I ordered a Hot Chocolate with lots of Whipped Cream and my friend ordered a Coffee. Live Music and very friendly Staff. Definitely will be back.

Great atmosphere, love the new look and layout. Fun people, unique drink and good healthy food.

Solid fair rating...the ambiance of the location is good, the crepes are delicious, but the beverages are always hit-or-miss for me (even with standards such as iced-coffee). Very little consistency from one order to the next.

The Root Note was a great place. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that they don't accept credit cards. Thankfully there was an ATM. The banana & chocolate chip crepe was delicious. Trivia night was really fun.

Easily the coolest coffee shop in La Crosse. They brew Kickapoo coffee and have great art. The baristas are quintessentially hip looking folks. Never made it to a music event, but it appears looked it would be a rad venue.

The staff at The Root Note were friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. We came in the middle of the afternoon where it was a tough decision between coffee and their other offerings of beer and wine. In the end we got a mocha, good; chai, delightful with a good balance of milk and spice; and Italian sodas made which had a delicate flavour that suggest an in house concoction.

Great spot to grab a healthy bite to eat.

Awesome eclectic coffee shop. You're greeted by goldfish in an old freestanding tub at the entrance, quickly followed by a greeting by the awesome staff. Live music, great coffee, and great beer makes for a great place to relax.

This place combines the atmosphere of owners who care. Not only about the costumer but how it got there by sourcing locally. They hire like minded folks and it is always a welcome in experience. With a rustic industrial ultilisation that really provides a warm atmosphere. Not to mention the parralle parking show out front is always fun.
