Racy D'Lenes Coffee Lounge

Employees don't have the courtesy to re-close their shared dumpsters and recycling receptacles which are behind another business and cause the escape of flies which go into local businesses without air conditioning. I will no longer go here as I will not be supporting a business which doesn't teach it's employees basic, common courtesies (if they choose to hire those who didn't have these basic courtesies imparted into them as a child.)

BEST HOT CHOCOLATE IN EAU CLAIRE - I've tried hot chocolate from every establishment I could find, and after extensive research, have decided Racy's is the best. Three different types and each delightful in its own right.

Good latte, comfortable. Place to wait for brunch at The Nucleus. Packed on Sunday AM, but thinned out by noon. Muffins and cookies looked good but didn't get a chance to verify

No question-hands down-without a doubt the finest location for chilling/studying in college ghetto neighborhood of Eau Claire. Great coffee/food/vibes. ONLY gripe a person could have with this place is the infamously awful WIFI connection.

We hold the monthly Chippewa Valley Campaign for Liberty meeting in the side room next to Racy's. The accommodation is great and the coffee and food is even better. Would recommend that everyone stop down and check this place out.

Wifi is spotty, but the atmosphere is hipster at Racy's, as much as they wouldn't want to admit it ;) Cozy place in the winter for some couch-sitting, studying, or working on the go. For the summer, this is right off of the bike path along the Chippewa River! I would recommend trying it out during the day if people smoking outside of it will be a problem for you.

This is the best coffee shop period! I've literally traveled the world and no other coffee shop comes close to the atmosphere, service, or taste of the coffee and food! any time I'm travel through Eau Claire I always stop in.

First place I had a latte, waaay back in 1992, and still the best. Relaxed atmosphere, good coffee, a view of the river and Putnam Park, accessible from the Chip Trail. Get a cup, grab Volume One, and watch the water. Later stop at the Joynt for a tapper and make it an afternoon.

Racy's is one of the best cups of coffee in town and the environment is comfortable, however their wireless is terrible. I spend a few hours of every day working at coffee shops but do not frequent Racy's because the wifi drops regularly and is slow.

Update: Racy's must have invested in their wireless infrastructure because the signal is great now, however they aggressively restrict ports so if you need a place to work with a VPN up you will want to go somewhere else.
