This place is super cozy. On the weekends it’s a bit busy to serve as a quiet study place but they have 3 large couches that are quite comfy for studying. The cafe serves as the waiting room for the nucleus restaurant so it can get a bit loud at times. The coffee and food are quite affordable though! They are dog friendly :)

Racys is the best coffee place in Eau Claire and the local vibe that it embodies is a far better atmosphere than you'll ever find in a Starbucks. The drinks are well priced and made right, the baristas are incredibly helpful, and you can come for conversation, studying, or just a drink.

This is my favorite coffee in Eau Claire I love the atmosphere and staff, especially Earl the turtle. Occasionally customers can be a bit loud, but it's a nice place where you can be yourself

Great vibes, great food, great drinks. Hyper cozy atmosphere with ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ hipsters working. Right on the bike trail this place is a Chippewa valley staple. We love the bagel sandwiches. There's always something new to try.

Love the atmosphere and the people working are wonderful. Just wish you secured your wifi. With all of the hacking going on right now, having an insecure wifi puts your customers at risk. I can’t do my remote job here safely and that kind of sucks.

I’d never been to this shop until I followed my hairstylist to her salon next door. She grabs me coffee while she does my color sometimes and everything she’s gotten me has always been wonderful. I’ve gone in a few times with friends and I’ve enjoyed it. Thank you!

They have great whole espresso beans for anyone who likes to make lattes at home, and great lattes and creative drinks inside in case you don’t want to go through all the effort. Best of all they’re dog friendly!

Hannah the hostess is the best I’ve ever encountered! Paige our waitress was super as well. Food was good too.

First off, a disclaimer: I've heard several accounts of the owner, Jeremy, doing some less than pleasant things out and about in the community. Whether or not you choose to take that into account when you consider bringing your business here is entirely up to you. But if you separate his reputation from this coffee shop, what you're left with is hands-down the best place to get coffee in Eau Claire. For starters, it's literally right off of the bike trail and the Chippewa River. The coffee is great, too, but the atmosphere is really what brings it all together. It's grungy, it's ironic, it's artsy, and more importantly, it's unique. I've never been to another coffee shop that even comes close to replicating the vibes you get in this place. Yeah, other places might be quaint, cute, minimalist, trendy, etc... but none of them are like Racys. You'll just have to experience it to understand what I mean.

Amazing drinks, kind staff, lovely atmosphere, and I absolutely love the punch cards for how much I go there!
