The best coffee shop in town. Try the verscanti; the Snickers was my flavor jam. Sunday brunch can be a bit tricky as there are tables available but the kitchen can't keep up. But the staff is friendly and the food worth the wait. I'm not steering you wrong with the verscanti- it's icy deliciousness will cool down any summer day.

Hit or miss. Some components of our meal were fantastic, but others weren't - which made for an unpleasant taste overall. Ex: the stuff French toast was awesome, but the fruit inside was definitely past its prime.
The service started great, but there must have been a shift change during our meal. After our meal (spending about $35), we stayed to have another coffee and chat. A second server came by and indicated that we had to order something to stay because our seats were "for paying customers only." We explained that we just had a meal and were met with skepticism...what?! The end result overall a poor experience. Probably won't be returning again.

Excellent little coffee shop tucked next to the Chippewa river. Short walk from campus and makes a nice study spot. The coffee is great, and the service is friendly. If you are in the hungry for breakfast come in the morning/early afternoon and check out the front of the establishment (The Nucleus). Every time I make my way through Eau Claire, I will be stopping at this place.

We had a great experience at Racys! We had to wait a bit for a table, and there was a wait for the food, but well worth every minute! My wife and me and my daughter ordered food from the Nucleus menu. I had the ultimate merger, my wife the El presidente, and my daughter a bagel sandwich with a side of hash browns. ALL GOOD. If you don't mind a wait, and sometimes creative seating, this is definitely an Eau Claire destination!!!

Probably the best BLT sandwich in town. I love, love, love the red berries and green tea too. The service can be a bit slower at times so bring a good book or some friends to pass time while you wait. :)

The atmosphere is nice. Food is good. Main issue here is what I witnessed with the owner. There are crouches throughout and a young man fell asleep on one. The owner was walking through and saw this. He immediately yelled at the guy to get up. The kid was startled and responded in a “what the heck” fashion. The owner then proceeded to scream at him, in front of everyone with no regard. He was way more abrasive and insulting than the situation called for. I get the owners frustration, but this was not handled well. I won’t be back- I don’t support owners acting like this.

The place is great, unique and relaxing environment. However, I have been here 3 times in a week and each time there are about 3+ people right outside the door smoking (including employee's). The smell of cigarettes is terrible, and everytime I walk in the door I have walked through a cloud of smoke and everytime the door is opened smoke comes into the building and makes it smell inside.

If want great coffee and delicious espresso drinks, coupled with a cool atmosphere, this is one of THE best in town. Love the setting by the river, old brick walls and funky art. Great place to do work or to chill!

I love Racy's! They make excellent White Mochas (My favorite drink) and even offered to give a small treat to my service dog as he was laying. The ambience is calm enough for students to get some work done yet lively enough to spend a morning brunch there.

I've been dying on the inside for lack of a good bagel place since moving to Eau Claire - a friend just helped me find Racy D'Lenes. I've now been here 3 times in 2 days and I'm going back tonight for homemade ice cream. Service and food/coffee quality were amazing even in the middle of being crushed by a music festival crowd. Awesome interior, or sit outside anywhere along the adjacent riverside trail. (And to address older complaints: the cups are now paper, not Styrofoam, and the wifi is solid.)
