Too Long, Didn't Read: Coffee, espresso, and lattes are perfect. And they have oatmilk!
PS: Remember to leave your barista a tip!
It's difficult to find good coffee shops outside of where you live - in New York there are only 2 coffee shops that I frequent that make coffee right (Ground Central and Rex).
The fact that Blue Collar uses a real espresso machine (not automatic), using the perfect ratio of water:espresso grounds with perfect pressure and proper use of the steam wand makes for an perfect espresso or latte.
I would recommend that every person that passes this place to try a coffee. The bacon, egg and cheese croissant I had was also delicious and made to order.
Also their camping and travel mugs look really cool - will probably get one before I leave.

I don't typically like coffee that much but Blue Collar knocked it out of the park with this cinnamon latte. This is probably the first latte I've ever had and compared to nearly everywhere else, the flavors are much richer and the drink much smoother.
The coffee may be good, but the danish was even better. This will likely be my new morning meeting place so I have a guilt free excuse to visit again.

Friendly staff and fast service. Has all your traditional coffee house treats and many drinks to choose from. Four full tables with chairs and three benches to sit at.

Used to be better.
Just went to try their seasonal drinks and the guy behind the counter wasn't putting the seasonal topping like whip cream and sprinkles on any of the seasonal beverages. Not to mention I stood at the end waiting for my sandwich (they were packed inside) and he wouldn't raise his voice to call out names.... there were four beverages and two food items called out while I waited and no one could here him so no one came to grab their stuff. Family infront of me ordered 2 seasonal drinks that came with whil cream and drizzled and I ordered the cookie one with whip cream and sprinkles. Lady infront of me didn't get any toppings and when I asked him about mine which was an iced beverage he put the saddest amount of whip cream. It's a dome lid sir please don't put one small swirl of whip cream. I want it like the picture, so I asked for more whip cream and turns out the can he had was empty so he probably just didn't want to get more for the beverages because he then ran to the back to get a new can and then told me how they are cautious with putting whip cream on beverages with an alternative milk...
First off I heard the lady tell him I said yes to whip cream
Second the can was empty so you prob were being lazy
Third the family in front of me didn't order alternative milks and you jipped them on their toppings so I don't want to hear it.
Didn't have time to talk to him about it though so just thanked him for putting more whip cream on and left.

Totally don't get the hype. There we 6 people behind the counter and 4 customers with orders. Took 10 minutes to get the coffee. What it felt like was ... one person ground the beans, the next person put the beans in the coffee maker, the third person made the coffee, the fourth person poured the milk, the fifth person heated the milk, and the sixth person assembled everything BUT apparently forgot to add something because the coffee had no flavor whatsoever and tasted like warmed milk... yet it was supposed to be white chocolate peppermint mocha. Avoid at all costs (cause that was ridiculously high too)

Normally we have a great experience and the coffee is always great. But the last couple times we’ve had a couple issues. With the coffee not being hot enough and paying for a large and getting a small in a large cup. Be mindful of the great quality we are used too. Keep up your standards please. We would love to come back.

I drive all the way from Rockford a few times a week specifically for the breakfast sandwiches. Today is the sixth time in two months that they either did not have food at all or forgot to make eggs. Very frustrating since they are generally good, when they are open and ready to work. Probably should add that I’m not knocking down the door at 6am, it’s well over a half hour after opening that I’m showing up for food that isn’t here.

Lovely, small coffee shop! Nice selection of coffee drinks and a few different kinds of tea. Prices were decent for drinks. They have food and pastries as well. Great atmosphere, cozy and warm.

Small shop with not a ton of seating, but such a nice place to sit and work if you are able to get a table (afternoons are less busy). The Coffee is always excellent.
