Chequamegon Family Restaurant

Doing a great job right now considering labor shortage, etc. We arrived with a huge group and they graciously accommodated us. I know our big group contributed to the kitchen being behind and made some others tables visits less than stellar. So if they give less than 5 stars it's understandable but it's wasn't the restaurant's fault.

Friendly service, clean, inviting atmosphere, decent food, will visit again.

Excellent service and delicious food. We had quite a large takeout order and the waiter was very accommodating in every way. He made sure to send extras of everything. All of the staff were polite and friendly while I waited and the food was delicious. Big servings and still piping hot when we got to our destination. I will definitely be coming back again when we are in Ashland next time. Hopefully for a nice sit down meal.

We ate breakfast and we're satisfied. Our waitress did an excellent job, especially considering she just lost a good friend the night before.
Pancakes had a bit to be desired but otherwise the food was good

Good luck getting silverware had to ask several times before getting it myself. Sat with food on our table for about 15 minutes. Server was very snippy and rude. The appetizer came out after our food. Won't be back

First, we were greeted as we walked in the door by the waitress, "Hey. You guys wanna booth or table?". Hello or Welcome would've been nicer. The food was okay. So much butter used on the toast. Omelet was good. The service could use a tune up. Our waitress only visited our table 3 times - to take our order, to bring our food & to give us the check. We had to ask another waitress for coffee refills. It wasn't busy either. This was our 3rd time here. Generally, we didn't feel they needed our business so we will not return.

Waitress was wonderful, hot beef and hot turkey was not very good. Also hardly any chicken in the chicken dumpling soup.

Stopped in on a Monday night since it was one of the few places open instead of fast food. The service was great. The food was average, but they gave good portions. Not a lot of flavor, but we like spicy flavored foods.

Coffee was good and hot the French silk piece of pie was very good service on the other hand was a dad slow but still you're in Ashland and you're looking at beautiful Lake Superior

Very nice family style meal. The server was very prompt and professional…she received a proper tip and a bit more as she seemed tired yet done her job properly. Kudos

Was ok food not great not bad. Prices matched the food, so that was great would eat again. Service was good for not having enough staff.
