Very quaint place. My food was delicious and my cinnamon bun coffee was fabulous! Definitely recommend this place. Staff is very friendly A+

Wonderful little coffee shop! In the course of a couple of days we tried the regular iced latte, s'mores iced latte and their seasonal honeybee latte. All were fantastic! We also tried their apple cider which was amazing. Their breakfast sandwiches are absolutely delicious! We recommend anything with sourdough! The pastries looked tempting (but we had full bellies) and they had awesome merchandise! We came with a small dog and they said that she can come inside too (but eat/drink outside with the dog). They had fresh baked dog treats for sale! The staff were extremely friendly and the coffee shop was very clean and inviting!

You can't go wrong at Battleground. I'm a basic coffee gal, but I did splurge once and get the Almond Joy coffee drink (don't remember the exact name, but YUM!). Their baked goods and bagel sandwiches are fabulous!

I always go to local coffee shops while traveling and this is definitely in my top 10 so far. I don't go to the same place twice, except I did for this place. The staff were amazing and the coffee was to die for. Highly recommend.

the coffee was great but I was in shock at your tasteless tip jar which someone drew a sinking titanic and wrote, even the titanic tipped. it is believed that 1500 people died when the titanic sank. That’s nothing to joke about! It wasn’t funny then and it’s not funny now. I know you wouldn’t draw twin towers collapsing and write, drop your coins as fast as the twin towers fell, because it’s insensitive, and tasteless!

Best place in Harpers Ferry for coffee and a sandwich. Wether visiting the town and passing through for a hike, definitely stop here. The selection of specialty drinks is long and the sourdough and pumpernickel bread is made fresh right in shop.

Good food and accommodated my allergy well. Had the breakfast sandwich, some teas, and an ice cream cone- all delicious. They brought our sandwiches out to the balcony, which has tables and comfy chairs, also dog friendly. Keep in mind their balcony is to the right of the door(or left if you are exiting their building, just follow the sign). Note: there is another balcony on the other side for the rabbit hole restaurant. I wonder if the reviewer who mentioned having to go in to get their sandwiches might have sat in the wrong one 🤷🏻♀️

Wow, what a find this place is! The espresso is awesome, from a roaster in WV. We had a BLT on fresh sourdough bread and it was one of the best sandwiches we've ever had. The people are super nice as well! They have a small shop as well with cool little things to buy. Don't miss this place!

A must-visit in Harper’s Ferry! Gluten free sandwiches are awesome and sometimes they have GF cookies. Everything is customizable, of course, and the staff is very friendly and personable. Seating inside and outside, but inside can be cramped while ordering. Very homey!

Friendly staff, quick service, both indoor and outdoor seating. Locally made items for sale. Wish they had a couple more vegan options such as baked goods. Coffee was a bit watered down.
