Trailhead Coffee Shop

This is a great little coffee shop! The coffee that Deana makes here is always delicious and very smooth, and I am always happy with my espresso. She also sells a few baked goods, some cookies, tea among other things. The interior is always spotless, very well kept, very clean at all times, with an impeccably clean restroom.

Fabulous service and even better coffee. Service was quick and coffee was hot. Appreciated variety of dairy alternatives for creamer. Can't speak to espresso, but I loved the local WV roasted coffee blend which tasted freshly brewed.

I was in Davis for the recent Leaf Peepers Festival. Each morning we were up early and coffee was on our minds. Having noticed the coffee shop upon our arrival we thought it would be a great place for a tasty coffee. I headed over early and to my disappointment it doesn’t open until 8 am. When I eventually got my coffee I was quite pleased. The server went out of her way to be sure I had a good experience. The simple coffee I ordered was great. I recommend Trailhead Coffee, but if you’re an early riser like me don’t expect service before 8 am.

This place has amazing coffee but WOW the man and woman that work there are rude and mean for NO REASON but I guess you can be if it's really the only coffee in the small area .. obviously by the comments on here plenty of people feel the same .. That's sad

Great stop in Davis, WV. Coffee done right. Cappuccino and lattes were excellent. Comfortable seating and wonderful atmosphere. Owners and barista very friendly. This is a quaint little town and coffee shop you don’t want to miss. Get off the interstate and take the back road to Davis. You won’t regret it!

Our lattes were very good and they have a nice selection of milk alternatives. The pecan brownie was amazing!! Very cozy--will be a comfy place to relax once covid restrictions are lifted

The coffee was good, but the guy behind the counter was rude. He rushed us out of there and told us we had to make a decision because they had to get people in and out of there. I completely understand if there were people in line waiting but there was noone waiting on me to order and I am a paying customer. Service is a part of the experience and I cant stand mean people!

I ordered tea today. The owner/worker added the loose tea in a tea bag and then with his hand (no gloves), soaked it under running water and smooshed the tea bag again with his hand no gloves, prior to adding it to the cup. I indicated that im not interested in that tea since he has been touching all over the wet tea bag with his hand. He said that they don’t have gloves and not required in their shop. He was polite about it and did not charge me for the tea, which makes my one/two star, three star. This lack of hygiene is not even acceptable pre-Covid era.

Most amazing coffee and after coming out of the woods for 3 days of hiking, much needed! Thanks a bunch and great job keeping clean and managing guest at the door! will be a recurring stop for sure!

Great coffee! My friend got a matcha latte, and he really liked it. They made it from scratch (ie. From matcha) not from a mix so they could change the level of sweetness.
