I loved my chai tea latte! Very delicious! But I agree with some reviews. The service is a bit off or strange. You're made to feel more like a pain when ordering your coffee

Came on an early Saturday morning for some wake up coffee, and was treated ABSOLUTELY horrible by the barista. Before even ordering he was yelling at us for looking at the board and not ordering fast enough. Then when it did come to ordering, we ordered “too fast”. I guess asking for oat milk and two syrups is too much to fast. If you are in the area and considering stopping at this shop, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST IT. I am a big time small business supporter, but I much rather get coffee any where else than here. I hope you do the same.

We stopped in for coffee on Saturday and Sunday during our weekend trip to Canaan recently. The same woman was working both times and was friendly and make great recommendations to us. The coffee and muffins were delicious, and the cute pup lounging by the fire made my day. On Sunday, we had driven nearly 4 hours back home when we realized our credit card was missing. We called TCS and thankfully they had it. They offered to mail it back to us and we received it a couple days later, along with some super cute stickers - so thoughtful. Thank you so much, Wayne - what a relief!! We will definitely be coming back here every time we're in town.

We stopped in for a cup of coffee at breakfast time 10/12/21 . The person on the job tried to send us to a restaurant down the street. I told him they were closed until Friday. He then goes off on a cockamamie story on how the town only had 500 residents and the more people that come in to view the scenery the more they close businesses down to try and drive them away. He was very negative on tourists.
I have news for him. A town of 500 people would not support a coffee shop. He had better change his attitude on tourists.
I only gave them 3 stars because the coffee was great.

I am all about service and don't mind paying if quality of the product and service is good. I would hope that any establishment especially small businesses during a global pandemic, being kind is integral when customers walk through the door. We came for a relaxing long weekend and had just finished a hike at Blackwater Falls. We were then wanting a nice cup of coffee and indeed we did have one. But the older lady behind the counter was not friendly and degraded the young girl working the register. In addition, we did not receive a warm welcome (from the older woman) from behind the counter from the moment we walked into the door. The young lady was kind. This was unfortunate, for the coffee and hot chocolate were outstanding. I hope this constructive feedback is used to improved customer service.

Had a very negative experience here today. Stopped in for a warm drink on a blustery day and was treated very rudely by the barista. He was rude about my order and had a very flippant comment about a dissatisfied customer. His attitude seemed that if you weren't happy you get over it. Both our drinks were luke warm at best and lacked flavor. Go somewhere else if you need refreshment.

My Iced latte was ok. My husband enjoyed his iced coffee. We spent about $18 for 3 16oz drinks that were ok, nothing special.

The dude barista in the beanie was really rude to us and was trying to hurry us up to get out of the store. When he was steaming the milk for our lattes, we figured out why. He literally had soiled his pants and was trying to get us out of the store before we smelled it. We definitely smelled the brown disaster in his hipster skinny jeans circa 2012. We had to leave before we got our lattes. highly unsanitary. we even saw him itch the brown stain.

Coffee was really good. Service? Meh. The barista was really fast and made great drinks, but he didn't seem to like people being in the shop. When our family of 4 first entered, we were told that only 3 could go in. No biggie, but it could have been said nicer. Then when I ordered my mocha cappuccino, I was corrected by the barista and told I meant latte. Nope. Cappuccino. I know the difference. After our drinks were made, I complimented the barista on his speed, and again, gruff response that they have to be to get people out of the store. I get it. Covid has people nervous. I have had it and lost a family member to it, but a little kindness goes a long way. That being said, my cappuccino was wonderful, but I doubt we will return. Doesn't seem like our business was wanted or appreciated.

I’m giving it a 2 star because I loved my chai, but the guy- barista had no sense of humor and was rude- and by reading the comments I guess I shouldn’t hAve taken it personally because it seems like a normal thing for him. My husband wanted something, but wasn’t sure and the guy gave him some sort of coffee that he did not enjoy, but I don’t think it had anything to do with the coffee, but just the lack of enjoyment from the whole experience.
