We ordered a sandwich which was delivered without the cheese. They brought the cheese out only after we pointed out that there is no cheese on the sandwich.
We did not get a muffin that we ordered until we reminded about it on our way out.
At 1: 20 we were told that they are closed, even though they were supposed to be open till 3.
The owner at that point in a sweet voice wished us a “very nice day outside of this door “
Rudeness at it’s finest.

Great place to get coffee! We went both mornings we were in town. The one day we had breakfast sandwiches, which were delicious. My sister, who has a severe gluten allergy loved the gluten free wrap. It was the best wrap she has ever had. Their specialty latte, Pot of Gold, was absolutely delicious! The girls working were super friendly too! We will be back!

Always nice to come in before work knowing I’m going to have a delicious double shot and occasionally a triple Ginger cookie. The staff are incredible and know how to treat customers with respect; from the many times I’ve been coming here for the past months I have never once seen ANY employees be rude or mistreat a customer. Keep up the great work!

Fairfax Coffeehouse is a gem of Berkeley Springs. Nestled in Fairfax St, across from the Berkeley Springs State Park, FCH serves great coffees, breakfast all day, and a variety of sandwiches. Seeing Trey and her employees are always a highlight of my day - they know what I like, they’re friendly and kind, and the service is superb. My faves are the Joey special (on toast, though the biscuits are super good) or the Avocado Toast, thé Hedberg Club (it’s big, perfect for two people), and of course, an iced coffee with vanilla. Love coming here.

Came here for breakfast in lieu of another cafe in town that did not seem to be Covid-safe and I'm so glad I did. Staff was friendly, loved the vibe, food and drinks; and extremely grateful that they take safety precautions seriously (which Berkeley Springs could do with more of).

Best coffee in town. Prices are not too bad. Metered parking out front.

Owner/manager extremely rude to a polite woman (me) traveling with an infant. I ordered a coffee and a sandwich. Waited about 25-30 minutes even though they weren’t busy when I placed my order. Checked out the springs across the street, so that was fine. Went to check in because it had been a while, and the owner/manager yelled out “This is for the person with a large latte!” and put a sandwich at the pick up counter. Since I got a large latte and no one collected my name, obviously I thought there was a good chance this mine. I politely asked “ is this the dearly beloved sandwich?” She loudly and rudely responded “ No! That’s a latte and the line starts at the back” Assuming I was trying to front the people standing in line. I politely clarify “This sandwich, is it the dearly beloved I ordered?” She, again rudely responded “No your name will be called when your order is ready” Since they didn’t collect my name and clearly she just called out an order identifying it is “the person who ordered the large latte” which creates confusion, I pointed out no one asked my name. In a loud and condescending manner she shouted “If you paid with a credit card, we have your name! We are very busy right now!” Indeed, there was a line at that time and everyone in the room observed this interaction and made faces of apology and empathy that this ridiculous woman was so rude to me. I was waiting outside with my stroller and TWO separate people stopped by on their way out made comments about how rude she was and checked in on me. The sandwich was ok the coffee was meh. I pass though here a lot but definitely won’t be back unless I feel like some nice verbal abuse and mediocre coffee to start my day.

Gravy and biscuits not good..
Ate very little simply because very hungry. Coffee good. Two tables only outside. Forced you to eat out even though space inside. I'm sure pandemic related and I would have been okay if more space out. One table occupied with older men doing their morning vist over coffee.

Delicious coffee but even better people! I met the owner today after getting pulled over and it’s my birthday so I was very upset and just finished crying before coming in. SHE MADE MY DAY! They had ‘pay it forward’ cards where people pre pay for anyone’s coffee who needs it. I will be going back tomorrow to pay it forward☺️ changed my whole day, made my whole day
