Fun setting right across from the park. Good food with a nice selection. Mama Trey's Biscuit & Sage Sausage Gravy were a hit along with the Empire State of Mind. I'll confess Mayorga coffee is not my favorite, but there are plenty of options. Thanks for a great start to the morning!

The coolest coffee shop, what a gem for the community. The coffee and cookies are great, the staff is kind. What really makes it special is the friendly ambiance. A true community center, which is rarer and rarer these days. From the local art to the crosswords to the National Geographic copies available to read, everything just says “welcome”.

Had a delicious breakfast (bagel for me, biscuits and gravy for my son) and enjoyed it so much we returned for a great lunch. The Appalachia sodas were great and the coffee was excellent. This is a very small place - cozy and personal. The barista was greeting the locals by name. Would highly recommend for atmosphere and quality of food. Thanks!!!

Stopped in for a coffee and ended up ordering the Ruben as well. It's really good and would order again...

We started visiting Berkeley Springs in 2017. Our visit was not complete unless we hit Fairfax! First, let's talk about the coffee... they could school Starbucks on this. The Caramel Latte is just crazy fantastic! That's my favorite ;) the biscuits and brownies, also fantastic, went home with us. Last...the vegetarian chili, just so good! If you are visiting this place is a must try!

Cute and quirky cafe with great drinks and food. I had the special-tea of the day (green coconut dream) which was super refreshing, hubby enjoyed his coffee. Place is busy and seems popular! We both got the E=mc2 sandwiches, unexpectedly large and very filling! I enjoyed sitting out front and watching the little birds eat crumbs and people walking dogs at the park across the street.

Fairfax Coffee House is a great place to go for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or just a snack. Delicious food and coffee. Lots of options for everyone. When in Berkeley Springs, make sure to stop in for a meal or just a drink and treat. You won't be disappointed.

Great atmosphere. Great people. Great food. Great coffee. We are so happy that we stopped in! We are out of town but if we are even back in the area we will return!

The entrance is not clearly marked, but it is on the left side of the stoop. They have two outside tables, and 6 tables on the inside. They are very COVID-19 concious, as they have plastic barriers between the tables that are not 6 feet apart.

Now for the ordering and food experience. Ordering was simple, as they have signs to gide you. You pay for your food when you order and they bring it to your table. A small plate of avacado toast and large coffee was $12.50. As I mentioned before, the avacado toast was on a small paper plate that held the small $9.00 portion well. The taste was sort of bland, as it seemed like they did not use any seasoning in the cooking process, but it was edible, which is an important part of the eating process, in my opinion anyway. If I am back this way, I will give it another try.

My favorite place to eat since it opened, The Fairfax Coffee Shop routinely gets good reviews for food, drinks, & service, even while displaying its owners' beliefs in fair wages, equality, and tolerance. But to get back to the food: by far the best bagels this side of Baltimore & DC, & they're homemade by the owner. Ditto for the muffins & pastries. My wife & I highly recommend!
