Waffles Caffe

Worst customer service ever, if I wanted to go to a place with bad customer service I would have got breakfast at McDonald's. I'm very disappointed in the manager for not catching the mistakes most of their employees make when talking to your customers.

Employees using bad language and talking loudly political views reflect bad on waffles cafe. Food is good.

The food is amazing...when you finally get it. It consistently takes at least 30 minutes, no exaggeration, to have someone stop and take your order. The food is expensive but you do get quite a bit!

Very nice experience, food was very good but this server Karla was very nice! and she is open about her self I recommend.

Don't know what the other reviews are talking about. Went in and it's a little mom and pop style diner. The waitress seemed to know everyone and have good report with them. Got our food hot and fresh. Will go again.

My wife and I showed up on a busy Sunday and were told to wait and they'd seat us quickly. As we waited we watched people who just walked in get seated before us, along with a clear lack of worry by the hostess/wait staff. If you want to go to Waffles Cafe, definately go to the one on North 1st Street. We were able to be seated, order, eat and leave in less time than we waited at the other location.

Make sure your waiter pays attention to you. We waited 20 minutes and never had someone ask for our order. Left without getting a order in. Can be good when not busy but avoid on Sundays.

This place is great if you're looking for a solid breakfast spot in the diner tradition. I had the Iron Omelet with a side of french toast. It was huge! Way too much for me to finish. Great value, good service. You can't go wrong here. This is one of two locations in town.

The food is top tier the only problem i have is the servers. Theyre overstaffed and they just walk around following other servers or go back and forth between counter to counter yet im still waiting 12 minutes for my server to drop off water. We ordered the country fried steak skillet and the lady i suppose only heard the country fried steak part and when told that we ordered the other thing but its okay she didnt atleast show sympathy by throwing a fake "sorry" just put the vlame on us by claiming that wasnt what she heard, she didnt read the order back so we assumed she heard us. The last 3 times we went weve been avoided and ignored to be served for too long of a time. If u have 7 hosts and servers not doing anything but running around like chickens with their heads cut off ud expect us to atleast get drinks in the first 10 minutes of being there. We even have our orders ready because we get the same thing but always told our server would be with us but only after another 10 minute wait.

Super-weird location in an old strip mall, for starters. Awkward waiting area w no signs about whether to self-seat or not & no clear place to stand or form a line. This ambiguity definitely causes problems for customers and staff. It's called a host/ess & a podium, people. Get 'em.

Waitress was friendly but the breakfast was pretty horrible. I ordered eggs florentine & the eggs were a thin, scrambled layered instead of poached. Eww. My dude's steak tips, which he ordered medium-rare, were crispy and dry. We didn't get a chance to send them back bc our waitress never came back to check on us.

Very disappointing.
