The Endive Eatery

Stopped by after a hike and loved our hot coffee with chai syrup! Also loved the several dishes we ordered. All were fresh and tasted quite good. The staff were great as well. I am sure I will go back pretty soon!

Overall: 9/10 - great value, exceptional quality, fun atmosphere.

Food quality: 10/10 - exceptionally exquisite ingredients cooked to perfection. Any substitute one could ask for is avaliable upon request. One of the best rye breads I have eaten. Even the espresso is probably second only to Barracudas.

Value: 8/10 - great value for the quality, but on the expensive side. Pricing is reasonably comparable to other small businesses, but the quality is far superior.

Menu: 7/10 - somewhat limited in dishes, but virtually unlimited in variety. The menu was in transition at the time of review, so this may change soon. Any substitute or variation on a dish is avaliable upon request with quite a large variety of ingredients and alternative options.

Portions: 9/10 - filling and not overly piled on. The ratio of ingredients in each dish is also well balanced.

Aesthetic: 8/10 - for an eatery the plating is surprisingly well put together. The atmosphere of the establishment is fun and upbeat, if a little quirky with the limited space.

Interesting and unique foods with plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options available.

The Endive has a nice little selection of specialty beers/ciders, and from what I can tell they try to produce their foods in house as much as possible which I applaud. But the execution of many of these dishes is a little underwhelming. My last visit I got a sandwich which was supposed to be served hot. My bread was toasted but the inside was stone cold. It made for a lackluster sandwich. I think that with more experience this place could be really great.

Pretty good food. They cycle their menu throughout the year which is really cool. I had the Aji Verde, their soup and a sandwich. I liked it but nothing to write home about. Nice presentation, but only decent.

I love their vegan and vegetable based meal attitude. Beer selection was okay but not extensive.

I'm really liking this place. I have been in a couple of times now and the staff are great, the artwork and overall feel is cool without being cookie cutter (why does the Tri-Cities love chain restaurants so much?), and the owner is cute (sure doesn't hurt anything) not to mention talented. I struggle to eat healthy and Endive makes it so easy with thoughtfully constructed meals that are DELICIOUS. Haven't found a fault with it yet other than my own decision to live on the other side of town!

Great vibe, unexpected from a strip mall in West Richland but...I live in Richland -haha so I’m excited it’s in my back yard:) - loved the dining experience of the laid back casual yet comfortable experience of seating, eating, and conversation. They are unique from most other restaurants around town. Cool pictures/ paintings on the wall, nothing square, uniform or predictable but very friendly and personal staff.. some times more interested in our conversation about life then running the restaurant which made us feel very welcome. Lots of food choices obviously created by chefs that are unique to the restaurant liking and style and don’t fit any particular cuisine norms. Food choices were awesome ... I had a Ruben which of course was very tasty, my wife had a salad, equally tasty..” she said one of the best she’s had” and also fit here plant based diet! I brought a yummy quiche home.... and they have espresso-always a plus !! If you want more details and pics go see it in person. My first time here and I was so excited. Food is amazing. Super cute place. The service though? Not friendly at all. The girl taking our order was rude, unfriendly, and she definitely put a damper on our experience there.

We were there for an hour and still didn’t get our food. Was wondering if it was because I asked for ice and was told the water was cold but still insisted on ice. We were served someone else’s food three times. The place smelt amazing but the price and ticket time is horrible.

Excellent food, amazing service with a vibrant art section that rotates. The music is dope.
