Classic Coffee

Coffee's fine. Menu is a little limited. Most of the power outlets don't support a laptop charger, which sucks. My main issue is that the scene is mostly cops and guys in their 50s wearing thin blue line and punisher shirts. Take from that what you will, but its not a place I'd frequent.

I don't know what this review will accomplish, but I needed you to be aware of the current customer service provided in your establishment and state that we have been unsatisfied with this particular employee's performance towards us. The new barista's attitude has been poor with ALMOST EVERY SINGLE ENCOUNTER WE HAD WITH HER at the drive through for the past two or three weeks.

Been coming here for over a year now, almost everyday since relocating to this area. It's convenient because it is only a 2 minute walk to get decent coffee. It's not the best, but it works when I have no time to make it on my own before work. I order the same drinks every single time and for some odd reason, pricing is always different, plus no receipt offered or given, so I cannot verify what's being charged. I think I am too nice, because there has been more than a handful of times when our order is wrong or just taste completely different from the last order. I don't have time to get down and complain about coffee at a drive-thru, hence the reason for a drive-thru. Normally, we'd just brush off the mistake and just drink the darn thing that we paid for. BUT this new barista really got to me because I had to humble myself and bite my tongue to avoid giving her the lashing that she probably deserved at the moment. Not only was our order wrong...AGAIN, but she was also RUDE yet AGAIN! So... instead I sent an email this morning explaining exactly what happened, so I won't go into more detail here. Since I have gotten no response back, I am now sending in this review in hopes I could get a response then.

I think she should just be moved to handle in-house customers and removed from the drive-thru... OR... get better training with customer service and coffee making. Thank you!

After many failed attempts to find a coffee shop that I could sit down and work in - in University Place, I finally was able to find a Classic Coffee. Their indoor seating is open. There is seating for about six groups, typically it seems like there are maybe one or two groups in there. Coffee was good reasonably priced. Food selections limited but typical for a small coffee stand. I am grateful they had indoor seating, I didn’t realize that some other coffee shops have closed or their seating area has been taken over

Classic Coffee provides exceptional service. Kailyn and Avery, in particular, do an excellent job of greeting customers and making the most fantastic drinks. And the management (Maria!) is very conscientious of the quality of the product and cleanliness of the cafe in total. I would recommend Classic Coffee to any one!

Every time I go to this place I get a little more disappointed.
The food is constantly fluctuating in price and quality, neither of which seem to correlate with each other.
The staff also seems to change out so frequently and they seem to be indifferent to, or unprepared to do the job.
Today I asked for a pretty standard blended drink that I have ordered before and the barista asked me how to make it.
I’m sorry, but if I’m going to end up paying $7 for a single drink I would like to not be burdened with the task of remembering what all goes in it. Especially when I’m sure you have a recipe card right next to you. And if you’re wondering if this was an attempt at conversation and not just ignorance, it definitely wasn’t.
Anyway, the drink came out wrong.

Service was great! Our drinks and caje pops were delicious. Staff are so friendly!

This is a very comfortable place with a nice drive-thru. I'm working with the staff to take used coffee-grounds for my compost - hooray!

My favorite orders here are an iced spiced chai oatmilk latte & iced passion tea with raspberry syrup!

Best coffee around! Employees are friendly, never rude. I don't eat much here. Cookies and bagels are good. Consistent quality drinks.

It's such a cute place inside. Recommend for a coffee date
