This place has the right feel of a good coffee shop/roaster. Chemex on the wall, plenty of beans to choose from, cozy atmosphere and such. But! They do not offer pour overs for their coffee. How could this be? Even Starbucks will give you one if you ask, and this is supposed to better, right? Needless to say, I was a tad disappointed. However that was quickly rebutted with what became a delightful conversation with a lovely young woman. In her company gas station 2-day old burnt coffee would seem pleasant. Takeaway? Only go here if you can handle JUST drip, or you find yourself in good company.

The nitro latte is my new favorite coffee drink, it's just so good. We always have a lovely experience with the folks working, and the atmosphere overall is pleasant. The vegan doughnuts are tasty too!

A hidden gem in the Sound, rivalling some of the shops in Seattle. Cannot recommend the service highly enough. During COVID they were on-top of updating customers about policies/takeout only. The true experience, however, is to sit inside their airy, but cozy cafe with anything you could want from local kombucha to delicious baked goods, and of course, the friendly baristas and chill vibes.

I googled "best coffee in Tacoma", and this place popped up (a few others did as well...I will be checking those places out in the near future). First impression was fantastic! The coffee was delicious! I tried some corn/jam cookie thing at the recommendation of the barista-it was really scrumptious as well. The employees are incredibly friendly- customer service was top notch! I will definitely be back!

Excellent local place for coffee and community. They serve good pastries in the morning too. Plenty of parking usually and lots of places to walk to pup around there too. Sometimes it tastes like they burn their shots but it's so constant that it must be a style thing.

Nice coffee shop. Busy in the morning but lots of seating. Their drinks and treats are great. Friendly staff.

Got a drip coffee for $3. Tasted very bitter as if they burnt the beans or something but that could be easily solved with more cream and sugar. Staff was really friendly and courteous. There are plenty of spots to sit, relax, chill, and work at. There’s only street parking afaik. There were plenty of customers already inside when I went around 9 am. Neighborhood is very quaint.

My favorite coffee spot followed by Manifesto at a close second. Bluebeard has lots of space inside, great coffee and pastries. Staff is always friendly and helpful!

I didn't go in. Too hungover in the backseat of the CR-V. But it smelled good and my compatriots deemed it tasty. Apparently a nice layover in between Portland and Seattle.
