The neighborhood coffee shop every neighborhood wants. Had the coffee of the day and the sweet roll. I'm hooked.

Tasty coffee & friendly efficient service, but I am not a fan of places that charge extra for a "large" tea since you get one bag & more water.

My wife is super chosey about her coffee. Literally the first thing she said is OMG THATS GOOD COFFEE. Friendly service and the smells are amazing. We didn't try the food but if the scent is an indication of the taste then it's going to be a pleasure to your palette. Worth a look and the coffee is worth coming and coming back for

I went here with two of my friends. The atmosphere is great for anything really! It fits in with the Perry District really well. They have a lot of both outdoor and indoor seating. We sat outside and chatted for a little while and it was great! I had an iced latte and one of their cupcakes. The latte was good quality coffee and tasted great. I am a bit of an avid Baker and the cupcake seemed store bought to me. The frosting was a little sweet and there was a lot of it. It was still a good cupcake just not anything amazing or unique. My friend had a sandwich and she said it was very good. Overall, it's a place I would definitely go again. I just might not get another cupcake.

Great coffee, beer wine and snacks. Reminds me so much of what I would find in Portland. Line to order can get a bit long depending on time of day

40 minutes to make an English muffin sandwich. There were only 2 food orders ahead of me. Egg and bacon were precooked. No idea why it took so long. Sandwich was fine but I don’t have that kind of time to waste

I’m not one to leave a negative review but I’m genuinely surprised this place has so many good reviews. I’m a local and have visited the Shop ever since I was young, always hoping something would be different than the last time I was there. But honestly, I have never had a good experience there. There was a time when I’d ordered my drink, sat at my table and went back up to get a cup of water from the jug they have at their counter. It was empty but when I asked the baker if she could refill it for me she said no because it’s “not her job.” Another time I was studying there with a friend and we both got a very strong whiff of marijuana coming from an employee who was on his *third* snack break since we’d gotten there 45 minutes before. I wish I was making this up. I can’t tell you how unprofessional this is. The Shop has gotten my order wrong nearly every time I’ve gone there, and once when I confronted them about it, they told me to keep the drink they’d given me and that they’d make me a new one. They never did. I understand times are hard but the only reason this place stays in business is because it’s a convenient location to folks who live in the neighborhood; it has nothing to do with the quality of service. To say nothing of the vibe of the place. When I walk in there, something just feels off. If you’ve been in, I’m sure you know what I mean. I’m truly disappointed I don’t have anything positive to say about the Shop but I don’t think it’s unfair to expect more from a local coffee shop.

Great neighborhood coffee (and more) shop. Lots of sweet and savory foods, snacks and baked goods, with plenty of vegan and / or GF options. I just wish they opened at 7:30am so I could get coffee on the way to work (when I'm not already late).

Fantastic place to get some work done, hang out with a friend, or just do some reading. Reasonably fast service. Great selection of tasty food. Great cupcakes! My only complaint is that it's a little dirty. The clutter doesn't bother me; I actually like a cluttered coffee shop. It's just that some of the tables are sticky, and it always seems like there are dirty dishes laying around, and so forth.

Still, one of my favorite coffee shops.

Met up with coworkers here after a tough shift. It is a nice and quiet area to decompress. They offer food and drinks from pastries like cinnamon roll and quiche to sandwiches and coffee and tea to rotating beers. During our visit, we rewarded ourselves with a humongous cinnamon roll. It was an absolute perfect treat!

The staffs was very nice, patient and helpful. I encourage you to check this place out and consider them. This is one place I would recommend if you want work done or be away from all the usual bustling coffee shops in town.
