Amazing food!!! The condiments are all housemade, & so delicious, it's difficult to choose which! The biscuits are HUGE, with a slightly crunchy exterior and a soft, fluffy interior that makes you realize that nothing else you had up til this one should've been called a biscuit, in comparison. And the coffee they have is deliciously smooth... even w/ a 4 shot mocha, there was ZERO bitterness that makes your gut go "Whoa... coffee...", was not overly sweet, tasted more like a hot DARK chocolate, and no jitters!

YUM!

I love the convenience of this place, walk right up, usually not much of a wait, no longer than 10 minutes for the entire process. Everyone has always been very friendly. I have to say the coffee is much better than some of the food. The biscuits are very delicious consistently, but I've been disappointed by the gravy the past few times. I usually have to spruce it up with some cheddar cheese or hot sauce, pretty watered down and bland on its own... which is sad because I'd say this is an expensive place for just a single breakfast. Was 20 bucks for just a cold brew and the biscuits and gravy, with the tip for good service in there. It's a nice treat but I wouldn't go often. I'd say I want to give this place 3 stars but I cant in good conscious because the people are so nice there.

This place is awesome... Worth the wait if you have too!! All the biscuits are delicious and sauces are made in house... Coffee selection is great as well!!

I had one of the best chai oat lattes I’ve ever had, and the biscuit with gravy was fantastic! I will definitely return.

Absolutely phenomenal. We got the classic and the biscuits & sausage gravy, along with a pair of iced mochas. 12/10, so good we will absolutely be back. Quick service, so don't let the line deter you!

The Biscuit & Bean was our fave, but it's lost its soul. I might use drive thru, but there's lots of places you can go to get good biscuits. Over it.

Yummy! The line was a little long but the biscuit sandwiches were delicious. Excellent start to our Olympic Peninsula road trip.

I was SO EXCITED to return to Biscuit and Bean after it "reopened" under new management. Do not be fooled by the familiar "Biscuit and Bean" logo in the window: this is not biscuit and bean. This is a coffee shop/cafe that has one biscuit sandwich. I ordered it Ballard breakfast sandwich, expecting it to be similar to the old sandwiches and I was sorely disappointed. There was no sauce/aioli so the biscuit was INCREDIBLY dry (the cheddar cheese only added to this), the bacon was microwave ready bacon, and the egg was severely overcooked. The other person with me ordered the panini pesto sandwich and it was cold on the inside. There was an option to upgrade to a biscuit on all the sandwiches for $4, which is expensive on top of a $12-$14 sandwich. The sandwich menu was standard, nothing that looked unique from other generic coffee shop sandwiches.

When we ordered they asked for a name on the ticket, which the people preparing the food promptly threw away without writing that name on the boxes/drinks. This led to lots of unnecessary confusion as the menu is limited. We were sitting outside waiting to hear our name when we were approached with a biscuit sandwich, which I took because that was what I ordered. This was actually someone else's sandwich and had been sitting on the counter for who knows how long and was cold. They had no idea who it belonged to because they threw out the names they asked for with the order. There was also no drive through as this window was closed, even though the menu was outside.

The only (small) saving grace was the excellent latte. Really delicious espresso served at a drinkable temperature. I might come back in a few weeks to see if they have figured out some of the problems, but likely won't return. Truly disappointing to lose a delicious Ballard staple to something pretending to be what it isn't.

This was a 5-Star review for Biscuit and Bean. Since this listing was taken over by a completely different business I'm dropping it to 1 star. It seems very disingenuous to take the reviews of one business and transfer them to a new business.

This is NOT the Biscuit and Bean anymore ! They changed the menus since 7/10/2022, no more delicious breakfast biscuits sandwiches. The current menus is pretty generic. I am pretty sad about the change and current Ballard Coffee Co doesn’t offer what used to be on the menu . Just FYI for whoever craving for the stable breakfast option in last 8 years !
