Absolutely terrible. This used to be biscuit and bean and they claim they purchase the biscuit recipe but they are a pale comparison, don’t know how to cook or serve biscuits will never return!

The special thing here is the biscuit and mushroom gravy. The sausage gravy is good too but I recommend the mix or just the mushroom gravy. It's amazing and I've had biscuits and gravy all over this country.
If gravy isn't your thing the flavored butters are subtle. I have yet to try the others because the mushroom gravy is so dang good.
The coffee is fine, well-prepared 3rd wave style (lightly roasted, grassy) like most hip places around town. I'm old school and prefer more body and flavor (Lighthouse is my favorite Seattle roaster).
But really I don't care about the Bean when the Biscuit is where it's at.

Today was our second visit and we got plain biscuits instead of sandwiches this time. The biscuits are outstanding however you choose to have them and as a Southerner we're rather opinionated about biscuits. My family has tried a variety of coffees and they've all been wonderful. B&B has a great product! The staff is not forth coming with information on their own so you have to ask LOTS of questions to understand how their menu works. It's not a place that's going to hold your hand and help you learn to love them. They have great food and drinks so it's definitely worth going and we'll definitely go back.

The coffee is good, but the biscuits are great. As a family, we love biscuits and gravy. My mom said it was the best she’s ever had. I had the signature sandwich, and I absolutely loved it.

Recently moved to Seattle and have been looking for a coffee house. I think I’ve found it. Solid iced latte.

Never been more disappointed! Seriously what is the hype about this place? Both my experiences have been seriously negative. First time, messed up coffee order. Second time sandwich was disgusting, big and seriously undercut that could have caused food poisoning. Biscuits super greasy. Customer service is meh. Get ur biscuits fix elsewhere!

Delicious biscuits! I got both gravy options with the biscuit and gravy- it was so tasty. Both the buttermilk and the chive and cheddar biscuits are good, but I did prefer the chice and cheddar due to the extra flavor. We will definitely be returning to this place and recommending it to friends!

I can’t believe it took me so long to finally try this place. It’s not in the heart of Ballard’s market street offerings but well worth venturing a tad north for this joint. I think the drive-thru made it super convenient to pop by. I really enjoyed their Signature biscuit and mocha coffee. I’m not much a coffee drinker so I would refrain from reviewing that but my goodness heavens, the biscuit was phenomenal. The softness, freshness and its combination with eggs and spinach made it a wholesome breakfast. Additionally, the house pepper aioli was a magnificent complement to the prosciutto, it admittedly was one of my favorite parts of the dish. The service was decent and nothing overly pretentious. The food spoke for itself which is what matters most. One challenge and this is more logistically speaking is the drive-thru system. It’s a small parking-lot so sometimes it gets backed up and you’re waiting for another car to leave so there isn’t clear guidance on what to do after your order is taken, so you either just sit idly waiting for a parking spot or park on the street and stand out and wait. This in no way reflects their service and I think they’re doing the best they can within reason. I’m sold and see this place as a goto breakfast/brunch spot when in the mood for some fresh biscuits!

The biscuits here are downright delicious! Whether picking up a simple biscuit and jam, or a savory sandwich, you certainly won't be disappointed. While the drop coffee isn't to my taste, the espresso here is excellent. My wife and I just went our second time, and the quality is good and consistent! We'll probably become regulars here.
