Great coffee! Super dog friendly, they gave me dog treats and had a water bowl for my dog! A great place to grab coffee after you get pastries as Sluys bakery!

This place is a nice alternative to big chain coffee shops. Plenty of seating and a nice reading area, free wifi. The coffee drinks are consistently good. Most employees are pleasant.

The people at Hot Shots Java know that their coffee is good. But, just to remind everyone else that their stuff is top notch, they throw in a piece of chocolate with every drink. That dark and sweet sensation helps remind us that what you buy here is so much more than what your pitiful Keurig machine will spit out.

The open atmosphere is very inviting as well. During the summer months, both large doors to the shop are open which basically connects the café to what's happening on the main strip of Poulsbo.

The establishment was clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful at drink selection based questions. the pricing on the drinks to size ratio was spot on. the quality of the drinks was fenominal. i got a frazzie 32 oz and it was amazing. They have a great selection of drinks coffee and non coffe based, food and icecream with 3 different cone types to choose from. Hot Shot Java is a great place to go to while walking along the boardwalk and down town poulsbo.

Favorite coffee place in Poulsbo for a caffeinated beverage, I always ask (and they always say yes) if I can eat a pastry from Sluy's with my drink. Every barista I've interacted with has been a peach and the customers (not that Hot Shots can control this) are 9/10 kind and might even start up a conversation if you are ok with that sort of thing.

Cute shop, plennty of seating. The nitro cold brew was great. They have premade sandwiches, pastries, ice cream and other food items available as well as their coffee.
