You pay a little more, but coffee is excellent. Need a treat for the kids they sell ice cream. There is a book exchange in the back my son loves.

The java bean on the cup is a delicious touch.

Nice little place to have a mocha, espresso, tea, hot chocolate or whatever your taste might be. Plenty of room to spread out, grab a table or sit in the comfortable lounge area on the sofa. Also great for the kids as they have an ice cream bar as well.

The staff is always nice and quick. The coffee is not my absolute favorite, but it's very good. I can't eat the ice cream myself (allergic), but I've been there with people who have and they've all enjoyed it. There is more seating here, inside and out, than most the other coffee shops in the area. You can also bring your dogs inside. Downsides: shares a restroom in the back hall with the seafood restaurant so it smells terrible (like bathroom and old fish) in the hall and the women's restroom is VERY cramped and badly designed, and secondly the wi-fi can be really spotty at times.

This has always been my go to coffee shop in Poulsbo. Unfortunately there is inconsistent enforcement of the no pet policy. On numerous occasions I've seen a man with a cat in the coffee shop, and many other dogs with their owners. My husband and I have brought our well behaved small breed dog in many times and no one has ever said anything to us. Unfortunately on our last visit a man (who I'm assuming is the manager) told us we could not have our dog in the coffee shop. He said there was a sign stating this. We looked all over the outside of the storefront, but there was no sign to be seen.

The day before this occurred, we had been at Hot Shots with a friend and saw two dogs inside.

Staff are super friendly. They don’t serve breakfast only muffins, bagels, cookies and biscottis. I ordered 16 Oz latte - very disappointed. The coffee is super weak - hate to say this, Starbucks latte is much better. I was hoping small shop cafes will have at least better coffee than Starbucks - being in Seattle area and all.

This place has great coffee and service. Very clean and tidy. They put a chocolate covered coffee bean on our hot coffee cup and a chocolate strip on our iced coffee cup which I thought was a nice touch. I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone visiting Poulsbo, WA.

Walk into their giant living-room, order your coffee. You are welcomed to sit wherever you wish in comfortable seating. Read a book, converse with friends, browse the webs. You will truly enjoy your experience.

Great coffee and delicious breakfast wrap. But not sure I'd go again when homeless people with their disgusting, unbathed and probably disease-ridden cats come and go pretty frequent in this establishment. Super unsanitary. Sorry, hot shots, not cool.
