Hot Shots Java

My husband and grandson LOVE the coffee here. They use Brazilian and Ethiopian beans and blends. (You can buy coffee beans here too.)

I love the Stash tea they use, which is very smooth.

We had breakfast sandwiches--a ham and cheddar croissant plus sausage and egg on an English muffin. They grill them on a panini, which leaves them tasty and fresh.

Hot Shots is a large space with ample seating, both at tables along the wall and in the lounge area. In addition, there is plenty of outdoor seating.

Starting the morning off right on a cool, windy, Sunday. There were lots of locals already inside and a few outside. I've been getting coffee here for nearly as long they have been open. I didn't realize it's been 18 years already! Usually in the summer the adults will get coffee and the kids Ice cream. I see this time they have added POG Sherbet also from Cascade Creamery. Thank you for the friendly customer service. They now also have awesome stickers and other gear to show off your visit to the best coffee shop in the area. The mountain scene that was designed by one of their own baristas is going up at my office.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Hot Shots Java. The staff were super friendly, willing to answer questions and make suggestions, and excellent at making our drinks. Prices were average for a local coffee shop. They added a special touch with chocolate covered espresso beans or little chocolates on top of our beverages. There were many optiona. We ordered a London Fog and the seasonal Sugar & Spice coffee drink. Both were delicious. The atmosphere was great, and bathrooms were very clean. Highly recommend!

Hot Shots Java... A hidden gem among all the hustle and bustle of downtown Poulsbo, WA.

Hot Shots Java has a wide variety of snack/pastries, wraps, coffee, and even ice cream! The prices are decently set making item quality, quantity, and affordability spot on. The food/drink items for sale are not anything extravagant but considering the convenience of location it is the best and almost only option.

The interior is clean, organized, and calm. There is ample seating space but due to CDC Covid-19 restrictions seating is spaced apart. There are both small tables for smaller groups/couples and a larger more lounge'y area towards the back of the business. Masks are required to enter and are expected to remain on unless enjoying the purchased food/drinks. Patrons have the option of enjoying their purchased goods with both interior and exterior seating.

There is little to no existence of parking spots exclusive to this coffee shop. If you are lucky then you might score a (parallel) parking spot on the main street or can park in the back parking lot where most downtown customers/patrons of the area park.

Service is friendly and helpful. Clerks are patient and assist patrons with answers to questions with a smile.

If you are looking for a coffee shop in Poulsbo there are better options but Hot Shots Java is in the heart of downtown Poulsbo you cannot go wrong.

Quaint coffee shop with options from coffee, tea, cider, ice cream, and treats. Plenty of seating and very friendly staff. Enjoyed a London Fog and hot chocolate with oat milk. Would highly recommend!

Great coffee and specialty drinks! A good selection of baked goods and other menu items. We just wanted an afternoon pick me up of coffee and a sweet bite. Perfect! Friendly staff too!
