My family and I came down to Pacific Beach last year and we absolutely loved this place and came every morning for coffee. The cafe was welcoming and warm, and the baristas were upbeat and friendly! There also was a gift/clothing shop attached to the coffee house that gave the cafe more personality and charm!
This year, it seems that warm and welcoming feeling has changed under new ownership. The gift/clothing shop is now gone which has left the cafe completey bare with no personality. The attached room is now a bar, however, everything was packed away, so we didn't get to try it. The baristas looked burned out and unhappy. No smiles or uplifting attitudes.
We agreed that the place felt cold and unwelcoming and we felt no desire to return for the remainder of our vacation.

Great pub burgers and homemade potato salad. Bartender/server is charming, authentic, and efficient.

This is a cute little cafe and the drink variety is killer

Great place just outside of Seabrook. Beat the crowds and get some awesome food and drink here!!!

They were randomly extremely busy but she didn't lose her cool. Great service! Decent waffle!

I regularly visit this little beach town and this used to be my favorite cafe/gift shop here. Well we walked from our VRBO to the newest addition of the pub side over the weekend for my new sister in law's bachelorette outing. The owner was absolutely fun and the drinks were deliciously refreshing (I ordered an Old Fashioned)! I will be visiting again my next time at Pacific Beach.

It's really hard taking my disabled son places and small adjustments are a big deal for us. Educate your staff.
The Americans with Disabilities Act, or ADA, was an important piece of civil rights legislation that was signed in 1990. The law asserts that businesses must take every possible step to allow people with disabilities to enjoy the same products and services that are available to other customers.

I don't typically give places in small towns bad reviews. This place is the exception. Rarely in my life have I had a worse breakfast. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. They were cold and awful tasting. I don't even think that being warm would have helped them. My Americano was burnt and terrible. My wife had a latte, it was full of chunks of some sort of food. She didn't order any chunks. I will not be back and I do not recommend anyone go here for breakfast. There is a gas station down the street that has better coffee. That's not hyperbole it's literally better

New owners! It's going to be a really great spot. It's pretty good already. Get there early for the cinnamon rolls. They sell out early!
