I enjoyed my time here, but the place needs a good cleaning. It's surprisingly dirty. Public spaces should be cleaned more often because people come in from off the street, after a dirty job, etc. etc. and just the sheer volume of people coming in and out... Otherwise my coffee was good, the music was pretty good, and the artwork and general séance was morbid but nice that way.

YES very good very edgy. they sell little skull earrings and other jewelry and prints and stuff by indie artists and they have comics and poems and cool art mod-podged onto their tables. their coffee quality varies a little from good coffee to VERY good coffee. lots of different types of people here. a needlepoint with a bumblebee on it says "please don't do drugs in our bathroom." I've seen some wild interactions here and sometimes I think perhaps Burial Grounds is not quite real life but I think that improves it. it's my favorite coffee shop.

Strong, carefully crafted coffee. Try the Mayan mocha. Not usually fan of mochas but this one is unique, spicy take (they ask you how many stars you want when you order, 1-5). Great bohemian vibe, lots of artwork and a unique feel. Highly recommend.

Food is mids, who offers hot foods from a fridge with no offer to hear it. Big mids

This is my favorite place to go when I want to get a macchiato made the real way and not the crappy Starbucks way.

I came by on a road trip and really want to come back. the baristas were really nice and creative, and the drinks were some of the most creative I've ever seen. I regret not buying more for the road, especially the lapsang souchong infusions. I really appreciated the clear connections at the coffee shop has with the community and with the queer affirming drinks, zines, and art.

Never again. I enjoy the drinks and snacks, and the baristas are often friendly. But the atmosphere is bad. It smells, it's hot, it's filthy. It's loud; don't expect a peaceful study session. I'm going to find somewhere else to study late at night. Sucks this place seems to be the only one downtown to go to.

I’ve been going to Burial Grounds for about a year now, and it is by far one of my favorite places to get coffee in downtown Olympia! all the coffees are so unique and delicious (my personal favorite is the Chupacabra) and it’s just a really lovely place to hang out and drink great coffee!

Best coffee experience, hands down. Knowledgeable and friendly staff complement the generous menu of beverages for any taste. And if it's overwhelming just tell them what you like and they can make a recommendation or create a custom drink for you.

This cafe is quite popular with college students and young people in Downtown Olympia. The coffee is supberb and has very interesting names, as does the tea. The constantly changing art on the walls is also pleasant to look at. The only thing is that it is not always the best area to get work done. It can get loud. However, if looking for great beverages, an eccentric atmosphere, and lengthy conversations , then this is the place for you
