I love coming here for coffee. They have awesome drink names and really unique combos. They also offer free masks (if you forget yours) and even free feminine products. Can't wait until I can sit inside and enjoy my coffee. Go away Covid!

This local coffee shop, is one of the most community involved shops downtown. Supporting minority groups and local organizations it is a true gem of Olympia. To sweeten the deal it has quality coffee and unique specialty cups sure to appease anyone.

Getting coffee at Burial Grounds was such a treat! My dear friend brought me there and I was enthralled with this place. Superb coffee, delightful baristas, and the collective is essentially worker owed which tickles my filthy, labor-rights-loving-heart. Solidarity with the service industry and creepy vibes 🖤🖤🖤

I went there because my queer socialist book club meets there. It felt like home as soon as I walked in. The staff made me feel safe and welcome, and the drinks taste and look so good. You can get anything vegan, too.
I like the Tell Tale Heart the best! It's rose and caramel and cherry and cinnamon.

The vibes in this place where amazing and the staff where super sweet and chill. I definitely felt comfortable and at home here. The drink names are hysterical and incredibly good, imaginw your favorite starbucks drink and then imagine it 100 times better. Thats this place. 100/10 yall should go here

Favorite Independent Coffee place I have EVER been to. Love this place, coffee is amazing and staff are beyond excellent.

This place is neat. Polar opposite of Starbucks atmosphere, but that's what I like. They do are in the lattes here, which my family thought amazing and I had a standard cup of drip coffee which was better than some of the pour overs I have had. When I come back to Olympia I will definitely return here. Families be warned however, there were condoms available on the counter. If you're a teen this is great. If you have kids already and are looking for a cup of joe, not so much.

Burial Grounds is not your average coffee shop. If you're looking for a simple latte or mocha, go somewhere else. Burial Grounds has the widest selection of flavors that I have ever seen in a cafe, and their large menu of different concoctions is so much fun (and delicious) to peruse. In addition to their standard menu items, they're constantly mixing it up with new seasonal specials that sometimes make it onto the main menu if popular enough. They also have the largest variety of alternative milks I have ever seen, with soy, rice, almond, hemp, and coconut milks all offered in addition to plain cow's. The atmosphere is very Olympia. The cafe is filled with mismatched couches and chairs, tables plastered with comics and excerpts from Lord of the Rings, and art both permanent and featured. They have an impressive library, and a computer for patrons to use. The baristas have the 'punk' attitude: be nice to them and they'll be somewhat nice to you. I don't mind the colder customer service, although if you're used to being catered to by subservient wage slaves then this is DEFINITELY not the coffee shop for you. All in all, Burial Grounds is a landmark of Olympia, with a very 90's grunge attitude towards delicious flavored drinks. If you're looking for a cool place to meet, or if you're looking to expand your flavor palate, I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Best Earl Grey tea latte ever. They suggested adding a little crème brûlée and lavender, and I was delighted with the results. The vibe is friendly, reflects the unique Olympia culture, and the shop is employee-owned.
