Decent place for tea, horrible place for coffee. Espresso is burnt and the baristas don't really know what they're doing. Plus, there are better spots close by. Atmosphere is nice though! The open-mic night is nice.

It has an earthy vibe to it, that really embodies the Oly persona. The quality of the tea is good however general cleanliness of the establishment could drastically improve. Our table was dirty/sticky and the room had a musty smell that made our experience not as great as it could have been.

Independant coffee shop with bold and macabre theme, cozy and intimate, with a strong, artistically bold and brash atmosphere.
Good service, colorful variety of unique drink combinations. Each visit gives me more appreciation for this place.

Staff treated my friend & me like children and refused my payment method of card; not sure why since Burial Grounds accepts card. Although the rude staff members, the art is beautiful and the drinks were perfect! I am disappointed and will not be returning due to this experience- I had much hoped i would find my new favorite coffee spot here.

The coffee is really good, they always have super interesting drink combinations that you won't find anywhere else. Maybe a little over priced. I would love it if they offered discounts for regular customers like a loyalty program or a better mug to buy for a discount. I did buy a mug from them to have a discount for coffee but it was a regular sized mug that you'd buy at a store. The print has come off the mug and I bought it less than a year ago and I've never used it to get a discount because I always get larger sizes than tiny regular mug size.
The staff is friendly and accommodating, they will make drinks for you that aren't on their menu any more. They also put really cool designs in the foam on top of your coffee.

Disappointed the last time few times I came in. I used to tell anyone new to olympia ....to go here for the innovative flavors and amazing latte art. Witty banter from staff also used to be an added bonus. I felt like I was at any other coffee place last time. I felt rushed out coffee was subpar and the best part of the experience ..the latte art.. was not even a thought of the barista's

Restroom was super sticky. Scent free zone so be prepared for Pitts, patchouli, and espresso. We ended up going to Wagner’s instead. The shots had to be replaced three times so kudos for not giving me crazy coffee. Small food menu didn’t order cuz the smell. Not the stands fault, it’s awesome that they serve every human!

I pretty much visit this place everytime I'm downtown it's a staple of the culture, the worker's are really nice, the coffee is bomb. Overall it's a wonderful place with local zines and local art on display. Great for a date or just a little break from stress.

Coffee is weak and the coffee shop smells more like the locals than it does of coffee. Hope that’s your thing. Staff is Oly Aloof ...better than you because ..I’m not sure why really. Seems to be the attitude of anyone who works in a coffee shop. Get a real job. Shop could use a cleaning and so could the people that work here. Lots of skull decorations. For super goths and people into embracing their depression and sitting on their cactus. Not so much for people into the bright side of life. Try not to smile if you go here, you’ll ruin the vibe.

This place reminds me of voodoo-oriented spots in New Orleans, mixed with a uniquely Pacific Northwest punk vibe. They advertise some gloriously complicated coffee drinks, and even though I was a tad wary (coffee with raspberry, red velvet, and cinnamon?) mine turned out amazing. A treat for your inner—or outer—goth.
