We had a great experience here. They may have short handed but it was worth the wait. Everything was piping hot when it arrived and pretty tasty too. We’ll be back!

One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I had the bacon avocado cheeseburger it was the most freshest tasting burgers I have ever had !

After finally getting waited on, and after actually getting served the steak and eggs I ordered, I cut into an overcooked steak (ordered medium) it also tasted freezer burned. I left it on the plate. The orange juice I ordered (at $3.50 a glass) tasted like watered down concentrate. The breakfast and oj was over $25. A high price for substandard service and bad food. I hope I can save someone from making the same mistake I made.

I wish I could leave zero stars. Was just here with my family (myself, my husband, my child), and left before even having our order taken.
First of all, we called from the parking lot because we saw one family leave who had parked at the same time as us, and thought the wait might have been a deal breaker. When we called we were told it was about a 30 minute wait. By the time we walked in the door (from the parking lot) the wait time had increased from 45 min to an hour, but “there’s no list to put your name on, so you just wait here, and it might be sooner”, said the waitress. We decided to take our chances and wait a bit to see if something opened up. In the meantime, I went out to take my dog potty, which I thought I’d probably have ample time to do.
My family was seated before my dog finished doin his thing, but I was inside within two minutes of them getting a table. I sat down, looked at the menu, decided what I wanted to order , organized my silverware, fantasized about coffee, reorganized my silverware, and waited, and waited, and waited for somebody to take our order, but no one ever came. After 15 minutes I told my husband that I had about two minutes left of patience before we were leaving. Ten seconds later the waitress finished taking the order of the people seated behind us who were seated after I got into the restaurant from walking my dog, and then walked right passed our table to the table next to ours and started taking an order from a family seated LITERALLY three minutes prior.
And then I had had enough and left. And I have NEVER just left a restaurant like this before.
Don’t even ask about the staff’s overall energy, or demeanor. They were grumpy, and seemed unhappy, which I guess wouldn’t have been surprising if I had been inside waiting for a table with my husband and son, because apparently the manager (or owner?) was yelling, and incredibly rude to his staff. In the front end of the restaurant. In front of customers.
Beyond appalled by this experience as a whole. Absolutely will not be back next time we are in town, or ever, and certainly will not recommend to any friends.

Great burger! Great service!

Clean, friendly staff and excellent food!!! A little pricey; but COVID-19 has made it difficult and the food prepared is worth every penny!
Best turkey Panini I've ever had and no skimping on the bacon burger...all was delicious!!
Highly recommend and will be a must stop when in Ocean Shores again!

Excellent food. Excellent service. The pandemic has taken it's toll on many restaurants. The owners of Sunny Beach Cafe are doing their very best to serve the community and it pays off. Some people just need to learn patience and empathy.

I was debating on coming here because of the mixed reviews but was disappointed by the horrible service and attitude I received from asking questions about the menu. Food was average and would not recommend if looking for a good family friendly restaurant.

Great clean diner. Food looked excellent. I don't recommend the halibut fish and chips. Resembled gortons fish and chips from a frozen food section. Doesn't flake, no texture and appear to be pressed pulverized maybe halibut. Burgers and sandwiches I saw though looked amazing.

We came early on a Saturday morning... WE LOVED IT! They were just finishing up baking the biscuits fresh and they were worth the wait. Sweet little husband and wife duo made the biscuits and gravy. Waitress was very attentive to coffee refills. It was an all around wonderful experience. We will definitely go back
