Whidbey Coffee

Shot quality has been consistently good between baristas for years now. Glad to see the place has improved so much! Everyone is super friendly.

Convenient. I got a cappuccino, I enjoyed it, although I would have liked it a little stronger. Maybe 2 shots would have done it.

The Danish was yum.

Drive thru coffee only. The signature frozen mocha is delicious and blended with cold brew coffee.

Been here twice. It’s a last resort. I love the chain, but this one in Freeland served us burnt and watered down coffee twice…

There are just two Whidbey Coffee places I go to, #1 is next door to Wendy's in Oak Harbor
#2 is the coffee stand in Freeland at the PayLess grocery store strip mall.
There are two stores in Oak Harbor, the other store is located near the Skagit Valley College. I've gone to the store near the college several times in the last three weeks, the service is great, the drinks are terrible. I usually order one of the specials for that day, they always come back tasting very watered down and no flavor...just blah.
Other than the store near the college, I've always been pleased with Whidbey coffee, even the store in Burlington, WA is great!!!

I usually stop here if I'm on my way to Coupeville, this place is hit or miss for me, sometimes if I stop in I get fantastic customer service other times its less then par. I much more prefer the Clinton stand. Great selection, good location there very popular.

I like to stop by here whenever I am visiting my parents on the island. They have a lot of good drinks for people who don't like coffee.

Usually I will grab a blended lemonade, I had their strawberry smoothie the other day and it was great. They are always really friendly and my husband enjoyed his iced latte. It is nice they are reasonably quick when there is a line, and the drinks have always been good for me.

As a home roaster, I have learned a great deal about coffee. Whitney Coffee has mastered the art and science of coffee roasting and brewing to perfection. My cold brew was perfect and my wife had a great mocha. The flavors were spot on. My wife asked for her Mocha to be not too sweet. It was just right. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, "I'll be back."

09/26: Ok, but not *really* good. Not as watered down tasting as Clinton store, but not lots better.

Coffee is alright, the customer service is awesome! It is a fairly typical coffee stand with one side positioned to accommodate driving up to the window, and the other side is designed for walk up customers. They also sell shakes, Italian sodas, cookies, and muffins. This is a pretty cool place to buy a unique reusable coffee cup which gives you discounts every time you go back to fill it!
