I really love this place. Great coffee, friendly staff, and just around a good vibe.

One star for the ambiance. Nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee but it is not made fresh so that killed that. The kitchen uses ready made ingredients requiring a panini press or to prepare your meal.

We’re got there late strong 11:00 for breakfast. They were out of about half the menu.

Biscuits and gravy and a Monte Christo was two of the remaining items of choice. Neither were edible and were trashed. The two ladies taking orders at the counter were not to blame and were too young to be concerned. It was a job.

I do not understand the 4.5 stars they got. It could not be for the food or coffee. Us locals like businesses that stick around for more than the tourist season so we rate higher than we should but this place needs to be upgraded to a full serve kitchen.

Not recommended except for a nice quiet place to get a brewed cup of coffee…sneak in a donut or something if you are hungry.

I love their biscuits and gravy and pecan sticky rolls! Their coffee is really good too. Definitely recommend trying them out. A great new spot for Coupeville.

This is the BEST CAFFE on whidbey island. CHANGE MY MIND! Great place to have a coffee and a conversation with someone. Staff is very welcoming. Man their pastries are delicious! And their lattes so creamy. Also happens to be in In coupeville wa the best place to walk and sip coffee on an atmospheric PNW morning. Baristas were nice too.

This place hits all the right notes. Great place to take visitors who want a good coffee experience in the PNW. Can’t wait to go back and have some great drinks and food!

The atmosphere is really quite, peaceful and relaxing. The cashier/server was really friendly and nice....
Coffee was really good.
Sorry But.....food was disappointing in my opinion. I saw alot of microwave use at the microwave out front...not sure if my meal or others in my party were having our food heated in microwave.
I'm not a fan of eating with a spork, server said they were out of forks.....theres a store 2 blocks away to obtain plastic flatware. Also im not a fan of dining in and eating from a takeout box, would prefer a paper plate or real plate.
My food was cold , biscuits and gravy was flavorless, inedible. 3 bites and I was done....the egg/dream bites were unimpressive and brought to my table in a bag versus a plate. Dine in food served in bags or paper box is not welcoming....gives a get out vibe...
Other food served at my table was breakfast crescent and breakfast burrito....they were average at best...
First visit.....I'm not looking for a refund or a complimentary....
Everyone works hard for there money..we all have expectations...service is 5 star....coffee 5 star, food a one star

Cedar & Salt CoffeeHouse in Coupeville is new and very good. My wife and I spent a pleasant hour in this cheerful place, sampled a little bit of everything from the menu and will certainly come back for more! The bowl of clam chowder was made just right (we can't wait to see what they will have for Musselfest in March...) and the tasty breakfast burrito was big enough to share.
A double-short latte was perfectly prepared and even though it was a cold winter day, we had to try a very special frozen dessert...real Italian gelato!
There's a big display case at the end of the coffee counter filled with brightly colored tubs of this sweet treat. Try them all, gelato contains about two-thirds less butterfat than ice cream so you can have seconds, right?
On our next visit, we'll go back to Cedar & Salt CoffeeHouse just for breakfast and try the fresh-baked goodies and breads made there every day.
It's owned and operated by local people, there's plenty of free parking, and at this time they are open 7 days a week for dine-in or takeout.
