I didn't stay at the hotel but I went to the restaurant and it was great! Delicious crepes and coffee. I stayed there for a couple hours to use the wifi and the waitress, Jamey, was very welcoming and sweet to everyone that came in!

Loved the borsch and pierogis! Rustic, open dining room plan. Space for families.

The location of the lodge is amazing. Unfortunately that’s the only positive I can say.

The drainage system of both Shower and sink didn’t work. Water would blog for long after every every use. When I told the receptionist about it, she acknowledged it and said “oh yes we know about it. It’s very old building and we are doing our best.” Well, thank you for the service madam. Left a night early and probably never coming back.

Beautiful stay, food was amazing! You may have to be patient when checking in and dining but well worth it. Best meal we had on the trip!

Not a food review. We saw the pamphlet and we’re staying at the nearby lodge, and confirm with the host there that the place closes at 9. We cut our trip did the national park short and missed out on a hike just to try to make it back in time to try the Ukrainian cuisine. We were very excited about it. Always try to experience local non-franchise cuisines. We got there just before 8 PM and the place was closed. Took us another hour to look for food places and after driving 25 miles, could only find a convenience store in a nearby town and ended up with microwave dinners.

I am sure the people here are wonderful and the food is outstanding. But there needs to be truth in advertising. The heat wave had already passed so that could not be a reason either.

If I’m ever back in the area, I will definitely try this place out again because it sounds extremely enticing.

Very safe spot to visit. Rooms do not share heating/ventilation system. Radiant heat on bathroom floor. Electric heat. Very cozy. Restaurant serves food, but no indoor dinning currently. The macaroons are the best ever and gluten free. Beds are very comfortable (memory foam). Rooms not carpeted but rather clean lovely laminate flooring. The hit tub is a must for post work out recovery from hiking at Rainier. Cost is $95.00 for an hour and worth every cent! It's heated with a wood fire. You sit on large comfortabke flack received very river rocks in the hot tub. There's also a sauna available for rent as well. Run by a very beautiful, kind family. We will be back!

Extremely lucky to come across this place. It’s a small lodge/hotel run by an Ukrainian family. The rooms are well maintained with nice touches that you don’t see at large hotel chains. The highlight of this place is the food. It’s simply phenomenal and a must try wether you are staying here or just passing by. Everything in the menu was so tasty and made of high quality materials. The honey cake is a must try.

The food was amazing! Pasta dishes all were great. Alfredo was creamy and flavorful. The mac and cheese appetizer was homemade and the best I've ever had! Veggies were cooked perfectly in all the dishes, highly recommend this place! They also had a good variety of homemade and unique desserts!
