Emily's Donuts and Café

😍 Wished we lived closer! This is a must to go here when we visit now! Never seen donuts so large or heavy. One lady working behind counter (her help must have been late) but she was keeping up. Very nice, you could tell she has been doing this for a while. We waited maybe 5mins not a big deal at all. One lady behind us left when we went to order mumbling under her breath. She would never last in NY city. Anyway we got a dozen assorted and a dozen holes for my little girl. Go try this place! Go early though they run out fast. We wanted to try the maple and bacon but they were out not surprised. Everyone loves bacon.

This place rates in my top 2 donut places in Virginia. A tie with Country Style off Williamsburg rd just down from Richmond International Airport. This place opens at 0530 and closes by noon during the week and 100pm weekends. Big tip; get there early as possible...they actually sell out sometimes by 10am...they are that filling and delicious..try the Reese and. Maple/bacon. The fruit filled white powder donuts have soooo much filling.

A co-worker brought a dozen to work. Everyone was in awe of the size of the doughnuts and more so with the flavors and texture. It was soft, fluffy and moist and just the right flavor and sweetness. I recommend indulging yourself to these wonderful treats to satisfy your doughnut cravings while supporting not only a local business, but also a veteran 🍩 🇺🇸

There's a reason the hours for closing vary, it's when the donuts sell out for the day and they sell out quick. This place is delicious and now have all my coworkers hooked.

I had such great hopes. All crushed by raw dough. We've been to this place 3x and 2 times now we have bought apple fritters that are totally raw inside. I'm not saying slightly underbaked, I mean full on stretchy, gooey, raw dough. Inedible.
Plus all the donuts are covered in tremendous amount of glaze/sugar. It's sickening. I have to scrape it all off in order to be able to eat the donuts.
No more Emily's doubts for us, we'll stick with Duck Donuts.

I never had a cronut before. If Emily's is the standard, it's an A+ for me.

A friend just brought us some cronuts. These are the best. We had heard about them but tasting them is unbelievably perfect.

Absolutely fantastic and delicious. Finally was able to make it here. Tried few different items to buy the cronuts we're so good!

Surprisingly delicious. They are super fresh and have a yummy light yeasty taste. All the flavors actually taste real like strawberry, vanilla, caramel. Def recommend if you’re in the market for some yummy doughnuts. We ordered a bunch and cut them up for everyone to have a taste (hence lack of photos. Sorry!!). We were all extremely happy with taste, texture cream ratio (if applied.).
Coming back will be a treat!

Come early for the best selection. The apple fritters are so yummy, you won't believe you ate that giant fritter, and still want more. The yeast donuts are the best around. I said what I said!
