This place is located in the heart of the old town of Warrenton, so the view is kinda nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a variety of tea. Not a huge choice of coffee, but it's really good! Breads and pastries are awesome. Overall very good experience!

I have been coming here off and on since this place first opened. I love the food and the staff. I remember when I pushed my twins in their stroller there, staff would always open the door for me when they saw me coming. So appreciative. The icing on the cake for me was just the other day when I witnessed staff giving hot chocolate and bread to a homeless man passing by. My biggest regret was not taking a picture of this beautiful, sweet, random act of kindness. They have my business for life.

Wonderful breads, biscuits, cookies, and well... everything I've had to date! Even the dogs love their all natural dog biscuits.
The staff in Warrenton was very helpful in choosing things to appeal to a houseful of guests (all of whom raved about each selection). My personal favorite was the cinnamon twist bread... Heaven! As always, their old fashioned white and the wheat breads were soft, fresh and tasted amazing.
If you've never been it's more than worth the trip!
Thank you, Great Harvest Bread Company, for continuing to be the store the children began calling (and 20 years later still do) "the good bread store."

The bread here is amazing! That is the only way to describe it. It's all baked fresh, and they even make sandwiches too. The BLT on toasted white bread was just superb. If passing through you need to stop in here and pick up a loaf of good, fresh baked bread.

FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!!! Haven't been to a Great Farthest Bread Co. in forever and when I saw this one was sort of on my route, I had to make a pit stop... And it did not disappoint. Samples are a must, to make the right decision on what to get and I'm glad I took some samples bc I changed my mind on what I thought I wanted!
Standout item was the Red, White, and Blue scone which is honestly more of a breakfast cookie versus a scone. It's super soft, flavorful, has a little chunk of cream cheese, and a hint of salt. Perfectly well balanced and great for breakfast.
What we got: cheddar jalapeno loaf, pumpkin chocolate chip loaf, cheddar garlic loaf, apple pie loaf, cheddar bacon loaf, pumpkin chocolate chip muffin, pumpkin bread pudding, red white & blue scone, coffee.
All time favorite item (which is the item we were looking for specifically): Apple Scrapple and honey butter.

Great bakery, they have a wonderful array of breads and pastries here. I'm a fan of their cinnamon swirl bread. They mill their own wheat in the back so the gluten content is lower and the flavor of all of the products tastes particularly fresh.

1st time customer. Stopped in with my wife and son and had read good reviews of the establishment. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately that was the good part. I had the Piedmont Blue Roast Beef sandwich on Focaccia. Supposed to have a bleu cheese spread and I honestly couldn't tell if there was any on the sandwich because the bread was so under cooked and chewy. Don't think they baked it long enough in the oven, came out looking white vs with a Golden Crust. As to the Roast Beef, you know when your teenager asked if it was pressed meat because you couldn't tell if they were slices, had no flavor or texture. The other sandwiches we ordered, Old Town Chicken Salad on Honey Whole Wheat and a Ham and Swiss were just so-so. For the prices that they charge, I definitely expected it to be better than it was. Definitely will not be back.

We brought in four kids under 6 and were greeted warmly and offered samples and a slice of amazing cinnamon roll bread for the kids to share. Breakfast was yummy! A nice surprise in a small town.

The bread samples are amazing. I tried a cobbler bread the other day and it was like eating a bite of berry pie in bread form.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the prices are steep for what you get. I feel like the sandwich prices should be lower by a couple dollars than what they are. If you buy 2 sandwich meal deals you are out close to $30, which is high for lunch fare.

Offer a great selection of breads and the samples are huge. This is definitely the place to go. A tad bit on the expensive side but it is well worth the price. The employees are very helpful and everyone really seems to love working there. Highly recommend!
