Nothing like being welcomed by a friendly "hello" upon entering! Great food and service with a nice small town feeling! I've never had anything bad tasting here. The samples are very generous! A little pricey, but it's all home made...

Very disappointed with the chicken salad and the chicken sandwich we bought. The salad was few dead leaves of lettuce half rotten and slices of a frozen tomato
The chicken was very salty! As for the service the young girl that helped us was handling money with gloves but at the same time was trying to help make the sandwich.
I had to remind her to take off the gloves but she never wore clean ones.

This place is a true jem to find, they make their bread and their pastries they have a nice coffee shop with all different flavors and the best part is they have sugar free options for your coffee or latte.

A must, if driving to the Shenandoah mountains.. Freshly baked goods, warm homey feeling inside. Staff appear happy and are very helpful. Sandwiches made to order and coffee roasted locally, how can you go wrong? Did I mention gluten free products? This store is really up to date with the most current dietary restrictions .

Great sandwiches, great cookies, great coffee. I really like this place. I'm not a huge fan of their actual bread, only because I tend to like crustier loafs with a lighter crumb, like Bread and Water does. The bread does well for sandwiches, eggs in a nest, etc and their challah is quite good but sometimes hard to get as it seems to run out quickly. Also they have good milk for sale... the wife and I get all our milk from them.

Great bread and coffee. Friendly, quick service. I love the breakfast sandwich but less than thrilled about the rest of the menu, the other sandwiches we're meh.
However, all of the baked goods are really good and the multi-grain bread is the best I have ever had.

Great bread, awesome people, and they got this cool Kambucha on tap. They do not get a 5 only because I do not know the owner... It's the rapport and relationship between owners that get a five! ;-) was awesome a few weeks ago with that blues singer out front... they got a five for the day!!!

I use to eat here everyday, but they are soooo slow. You would think when the employees see the five sandwiche orders coming in ,and they would stop doing what they are doing, and start making the food (customer service )but nope not them! They just need couple better employees or a manger type person to keep it running smoothly. Some people (like me )are coming in on a lunch break and don’t have a lot of time to wait around. Other then that the food is good just be prepared to wait!

I really liked this place—everything’s yummy from their breads to sandwiches to giant cookies. Unfortunately, I’ve recently gotten loaves of bread that have been raw in the middle, not once but twice! And so raw that I wondered if I were supposed to bake them more at home and that I just missed something... I did not. Stay away from their cinnamon swirl breads and their cinnamon burst breads... and I’d be careful about their other breads too.

Beautiful little place. Staff is amazingly friendly. Nice selection of products. The breads look so tasty. Husband snagged a pumpkin chocolate chip loaf. Can’t wait to try it when we get home.
