One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever tasted. The bread is amazingly soft. The eggs are fluffy and light and made with love. Tastes like someone's grandma is back in the kitchen making breakfast. I will always stop here while in Virginia Beach.

We took several things to go to try, and everything we had was just delicious! especially blueberry and orange chocolate scones, just amazing, the way scones should be done! Haven’t been able to find a good scone so far, but this was it. Creamsicle and lemon poppy macaroons were also very good, perfect texture and so refreshing. And of course croissants, so good, especially warmed up. Almond chocolate was our favorite.

May the pastry be with you! Hands down one of the top places to check out while in Virginia Beach. I had the best cinnamon roll in my life here. Also serving up delicious coffee, this place is a dream. Do it. Do it now.

May’s Parlor did our dessert for our wedding 5/6/22 and it was amazing!! We had so much variation on our dessert table (cheesecake, 3 tiered/flavored cake, tarts, macaroons) - I do not have professional pictures yet to post! Everyone was in awe at our wedding about how amazing these desserts were! The tasting and planning was so easy, Racheal was so responsive despite being so popular! We love this place & will continue to visit them on most of our weekends for the best baked goods in the area!

The smell as soon as you walk in will make you spend all of your money. Everything from their coffees, to pastries, to quiches are absolutely amazing. But I think my favorite is their breakfast sandwich. I don’t know what they put in those bins but holy moly it’s the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. & it’s actually filling!!! Truly a hidden gem at the oceanfront!!

I followed them on Instagram for awhile before visiting. Missed the store driving by the first time, turned into Arctic and parked in the back lot which is very small and has very few spots. The girl behind the counter was super nice, I got their weekly special: peach grilled cheese and peach salad and two reg iced coffees - total was $42 before tip which is pretty steep but I get it, gotta pay that Oceanfront rent. Coffee was very fresh, food was made to order but I probably will not be back in the nearest future. Will check their Norfolk location which should be less pricey, I would imagine.

Pretentious and poor customer service. I went in to order 12 pastries that I was bringing to a work function off site and really in the morning. I asked if they could cut them each in half so that people didn't have to eat an entire pastry of they didn't want to. The young lady replied that their pastries will only leave the store whole so that they look exactly how they want them. She told me she could give me plastic cutlery and I could cut them my self. I would strongly recommend going to Granier European Bakery instead.
