What a delightful bakery cafe! Some of the best sandwiches and pastries I've ever had!

the quiche is so well done! i'm so very impressed with the quality of this place! also got a cream cheese cinnamon bun, which was out of this world!

Good place to get pastries. Coffee was average. Like the vibe of this place. Roses were the prettiest when we went there. Croissant and coffee cake were so good.

Really cute little bakeshop ! The pastries are always tasty and the staff is super friendly. They have seasonal additions like the peppermint cruffin. Nice area to sit down inside too, even though it is small.

Good place, but we were a little disappointed based on the 4.9 star rating by others. The pastries were decent, but didn't quite meet the level of other reviews unfortunately. I wish we had sampled a greater array of food while there, but our 3 items were all in the 3-4 star range taste-wise. We happened to be in Virginia Beach the day a tropical storm arrived, and May's was a great place to warm up and dry out! The decor and atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming, and the staff was excellent.

Within it's first 3 years, May's Parlor has become a local staple and community gem. Racheal and her team are dedicated to delivering consistent, friendly service, and their hard work and kindness in the face of this pandemic is just as admirable, appreciated, and uplifting as it is unsurprising — community support comes naturally to this team, and we as a community are proud to support May's Parlor. Loved the pasties. This was the first time being here. Everything was tasty. The scones may have been slightly drier than normal. The prices were elevated a bit. But definitely worth visiting at least once. The best was the chocolate almond croissant and the cinnamon roll muffin/croissant

Very good place to have breakfast and pastries , tried quiche it was delicious, and coconut lime croissant, very good . Staff was super friendly. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Easily the best bakery on the oceanfront. I’ve been coming to Mays since it first open and it has become one of my most recommended places to friends and family. Their quiche is my go to but I’ve loved all of their sweeter pastries and their veggie breakfast sandwich. Great customer service and high quality baked goods!
