A pleasant roadside discovery where the usual restaurants are bland and predictable. The restaurant strives to have as low an ecological impact as can be managed. The food is fresh and and trends toward the local. I have stopped several times and have been pleased with each visit. If the weather is nice, make sure to sit outside along the creek. The food is very good, although I thought the falafel special could have had some more greens on it and an option for a side dish other than potato chips. The store has a variety of artsy goods for sale.

Food and coffee are absolutely delicious. It was so good we came back again the next day. I had the marinated tofu bahn mi and the falafel sandwich and both were the kind of sandwiches I will daydream about later. The iced latte was smooth and creamy with a layer of cold foam. Vegetarian friendly and nice outdoor seating available behind the building by a little river. Fairly short drive from Old Rag mountain so this was a great lunch spot for after our hike.

This is probably my second bad review in two years and after 20 good reviews. The food there was underwhelming, we paid $13 for a pulled pork sandwich, and $12 for a chicken sandwich. They skimped out on the protein, I wish I had taken a picture of both to prove it. That being said the food was underwhelming, both my partner and I agreed. After a $3 drink and tax your total comes out to about $18. You can do a decent restaurant for that price and get a heartier meal. Overall I would say it’s mostly hype it is not worth the money. The chicken sandwich had 3 small pieces of chicken like small. Instead of $12 it should have been $8 or even six for 80% bread 15% toppings and 5% protein. If you go there just know you will pay a lot for a little.

After camping nearby we wanted a quick take out place for breakfast. We got two coffees, and two bagels with cream cheese. The coffee had grounds in it, and pretty sure sour cream was on our bagels not cream cheese. I wish we dined in so we could have gotten it fixed, but we were on the go and just had to deal with it.

Fresh farm to table eatery. Really great place to take the family for a quick lunch while visiting Shenandoah park. Great atmosphere inside and out back. I had the pulled pork sandwhich and my wife had the fig and chicken sandwhich. Very good quality and taste! Highly recommend!

Got a pulled pork sandwich with chips and a lime basil seltzer. It was all delicious and the atmosphere was great. A nice outdoor seating area, plenty of vegetarian option. Would definitely recommend!!

Would give it 6 stars if I could. Everything was perfect. Falafel and Bahn mi were great. Coffee, cappuccino and cookie were also very good. Free EV juice too!! Highly recommend!

MUST STOP at this place on your way out of Shen! Food and ambience were both FANTASTIC— great river view out back, wonderful coffee and sandwich.
