Crafted

I've been here 3 times since they opened, and enjoyed it every time. Amazing service, had three different servers and all of them were outstanding. The food is delicious. Over the course of the three visits I've had the pork rind app, the pimento cheese app, two of the different burgers, as well as trying my wife's Philly steak and tomato soup. All of it has been extremely good. Great location, great pricing. Depending on when you go it may be slightly more busy, but we've never had a hard time getting a table. They have enough table space to seat everything from couples to large groups.

Getting a five star review simply on service alone. We stopped in for a quick drink and some apps before Hamilton and Jennifer J was out server. Not only was she personable and informative, but when I asked if they carried Bleu cheese stuffed olives (they don't) she didn't skip a beat in offering up her time to make a few for my martini. HUGE customer service and I was incredibly appreciative! The hosts were also very polite and friendly! This is a very rare night out for my husband and I, and we were just ecstatic over the service. Food was great too! But the service blows all of it out of the water. Great job! And thank you!

Attention General Manager, please read this! We arrived about 45 minutes before closing, however we weren't drinking and had an idea of what we wanted to eat. We clean up after ourselves and tip well. We were greeted by a young lady who was cleaning up, who then turned us over to the host. He quickly pointed out that last call was "in 10 minutes". Maybe greet us with a smile and seat us, and then just mention that last call was 9:30? I get that you have worked all day and want to close and go home, but have some tact. Our server was nice, and we were ready to order when she brought us our water. The salads were good, and even though they were slightly burned, our Chicken Wraps were tasty. The restaurant is nicely decorated. However, right before we left, screaming broke out in the kitchen with F bombs flying. Ourselves, two small tables, and a large party all looked and listened in disbelief..if I wanted drama I would go on a talk show! This business has great potential, but between the less than warm welcome and the screaming match in the back, this restaurant needs a little refining. BTW for the host worried that we would keep them after closing, we sat down at 9:17 and walked out at 9:44, and we were not the last ones to leave.

I was terribly disappointed by my last visit. It was later in the evening and, after we sat down, we were told that there was hardly any food in the kitchen. The truck hadn't arrived. No burgers, no fries, etc. We ordered a chicken sandwich and soup and grilled cheese instead. The bun on the sandwich was burnt. The soup was a tiny cup and barely warm. Crafted has been my "go to" for a while and it started off so strong. Right now, I just don't have any desire to go back. I feel for the bar staff, but obviously something is very wrong with the back of house. There have been issues with my last four visits. I think it would have been better if they'd closed with an apology. I spent $45 including two drinks. That's not a small amount of money to me. We were given a choice to leave but it was getting late so we decided to stay. A new taproom is opening up across the street and if Crafted is not careful, any competition will put them out of business.

Crafted is one of just a few restaurants in the area where the vibe is what I would call "elegant casual." Great for a "professional lunch." I took out my office staff for our annual lunch, and it was perfect - nice enough to say that this was special, but not put-you-into-debt nice, if that makes sense. Classy & easygoing. Good selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and burgers that 1) taste great (the calamari was the tenderest several of us had ever eaten) and 2) DON'T look like everyone else's menu. It's clear someone put thought into the offerings. The place is much more elegant than "Appetizers, salads, sandwiches and burgers" might convey. They also have broad selections of beer and wine, along with a full bar. Our server was great - attentive without being overbearing. Total tab for 5 of us (they all got salads, I got a sandwich and ordered us two appetizers and two desserts, along with two beers) was $150 including a 20% tip. Haven't seen the dinner menu but definitely want to go back.

I love crafted. The service is amazing. I’ll admit I’ve had one or two less than great visits but the staff made up for it in their amazing attitudes. You feel like you are at your neighborhood bar. You always feel welcome and the food is great. I’m also a huge fan of their Old Fashioned

Great place for beer, huge selections. Food choice was limited but well prepared. We really enjoyed the fried pork rinds, it was delicious paired with chef’s sauce. I haven’t seen pork rinds at any other restaurants. The sandwiches were very good but bit pricey. The chicken wings were not good at all, we had the dry rub and Carolina Gold. The wings are the reason I couldn’t give them a five stars review. Service was wonderful! We had Athena serving our table, she is very attentive and friendly. All tables inside the restaurant were far apart and there are good amount of tables at the outside surrounded by nice planters with blooming flowers. Unlike some other places, all waitstaff wore face masks.

I came to this place for a business party of quite a lot of people (about 60 I think) We had 2 designated waitresses for only our party, despite them apparently being short staffed that night. I think they all did a great job! I mean, come on, 2 waitresses for 60+ people? They did amazing! The food that was set aside for the party was friggin delicious!! Cook staff stayed ontop of bringing out more food, I really have no complaints at all! I recommend you check out this place!

Great location, pricing and vibes. Our server Otisha was so lovely! Very attentive and personable. Food was TOP TIER, literally everything was perfect. (Huge thanks to the chef, JT!) We will definitely be returning.
