Blanchards is the best brew RVA has to offer - I said what I said.

Such a cute little coffee shop. Although I have not been inside as my first time was recently. They only take orders through a walk up window or you can order ahead. I usually get an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it’s pretty good. It could be a little more vanilla flavored. Everyone seems pretty nice. I have only ordered via online so I can just come pick it up but I have to agree with some of the other reviews about needing a better pick up process. They are pretty busy first thing in the morning and you still have to wait in line to get your drink. Which honestly you could have just ordered it in person at that point.

Anytime I visit a city I try to find the best coffeeshop in the area, and so far while being here I have to give it to Blanchards! I didn't get to sit down while visiting but I did get my coffee of course and man it was great! Has to be one of my best cups of coffee I had in a while, and I will definitely have to return before leaving! Also I found it awesome that they offered knowledge to those interested in brewing coffee on their website, so I definitely recommend checking that out if your looking to get started!

Really unfortunate experience here. There are no sandwiches as advertised in the photos for the shop. That’s not really a problem. However, “Hank” was shockingly dismissive and condescending when I pointed out that we had stopped for the paninis we saw advertised on the Google page for the business. Conversely, the Chai Tea latte, made by “EM”, was really good. It’s sad that a distinct lack of customer care and service training made this a bad experience at a place that looks like it could be so good. Taking care of your customers really makes or breaks an entire experience…

The black coffee was good but was not a fan of the lattes. Certainly not kid friendly. We were told that almost everything was out that we were ordering but then someone about 10 minutes later came in and ordered the same thing and was leaving with it. Can't help but think that we were not welcome based on the front cashier / Baristas vibes towards us. Was definitely not helpful when we were trying to find our son something to snack on. We won't be back.

Absolutely loved my vanilla lattes from Blanchards! The quality of the beans, milk and syrup is very high. Drinks were well prepared. When there was a mistake with my order the staff were quick to remake my drink no questions asked. Highly recommend!

Great coffee. Loads of whole bean options for the home brewer.

Great expresso and mocha. Expensive. Not much to eat (cookie and muffin). Few seating places mostly took by students. Beautiful style. Not for families with toddlers that wants to eat something more nutritious.

Had the BEST tea latte here with oat milk (winter fog is what it's called I believe). It was a chilly day and it totally hit the spot. The staff was attentive and quick. Never disappointed.

First time going and now I like oat milk :) Wish there was a bit more seating. But my dirty chai was great!
